Continuous Welded Rail in Curves of Small Radii
Chudějová, Ludmila ; Plášek, Otto ; Murínová, Klára ; Koudelová, Kateřina ; Jedlička, Michal
This paper provides a comprehensive review of the theory of continuous welded rail (CWR) mechanics and summarizes research results published to date with a focus on the stability of continuous welded rail. Axial forces arise mainly due to temperature changes and can cause rail crack in low winter temperatures or track buckling in high summer temperatures. The results of static analyses of the stability of CWR for small radii are presented. Reduced stability is typical of curves of small radius (R < 300 m) where the lateral resistance of the track and the bending stiffness are exceeded. In curves of very small radii, lateral displacements of the track have been observed which reduce the axial forces in the track and thus reduce the risk of track buckling.
Deisgn of Reconstruction of the Chlumec nad Cidlinou - Trutnov Railway Track, km 103,7 - km 107,109
Pěknicová, Daniela ; Vrba, Tomáš (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the reconstruction of the single-rail mainline railway Chlumec nad Cidlinou - Trutnov in the section that begins in front of the railway stop Prosečné at 103.7 km and ends at km 107.109 connecting to the switch number 15 in the railway station Hostinné. The thesis deals with design of railway superstructure with new geometric parameters. The drainage and technology of construction are also worked out in this thesis.
Cross-resistance of Sleepers with Plastic Sleeper Anchors
Francová, Aneta ; Malovaný, Lubomír (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis focuses on the cross-resistance to using plastic sleeper anchors EVA V. Measurements are made using a special extrusion equipment in the trial track section Svitavy–Žďárec u Skutče. Furthermore, there are cross-resistance with sleepers with plastic anchors, steel anchors and without anchors comparised. The final task is to determine whether it is possible to use plastic anchors in the operand line.
Track Bridge Interaction
Kapounek, Jan ; Kubelka, Jan (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of different approaches to the evaluation of the combined response of bridge structure and continuous welded rail on 5 planned bridges on high-speed railway in the Czech Republic in the stage of Land Use Permission. The output of the analysis of these bridges is the indication and description of problematic points occurring in the methodology as well as the development of recommended steps for the calculation of the combined response of structure and track to variable actions by the method of Complex Analysis for bridges on high-speed lines in the Czech Republic. Based on this recommended procedure, a simple bridge model is created.
Continuous welded rail in tight curves
Peřinová, Kateřina ; Szabó, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the curve radius influence on lateral stability of continuous welded rail. It is presented the overview of present state of knowledge in the field of stability of continuous welded rail. In practical part is created the model of a track section. The influence of some parameters on loss of stability of CWR was studied. The results it are compare with the analytic analysis.
Continuous welded rail on bridges
Vendel, Jiří ; Szabó, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The aim of the dissertation is to compare different analysis of the interaction continuous welded rail and bridge in the domestic and foreign literature and to compare the provisions of the prescription S3 Permanent way structure and ČSN EN 1991-2 (73 6203) Eurocode 1: Actions on structures - Part 2: Traffic loads on bridges.
Nonlinear analysis of continuous welded rail in curves of small radius
Murínová, Klára ; Szabó, Petr (referee) ; Plášek, Otto (advisor)
The diploma thesis examines the influence of curve radius on continuous welded rail stability in a small radius curve. Attention is paid to curves with a radius less than 300 m. The first part of the thesis summarises the theory of continuous welded track and influence of track parameters on track stability. The second part of the thesis deals with constructing of the numerical model of a curved track with the observed behaviour of track under thermal loading with positive and negative temperature values. The variable values in the model are rail shapes and different radius. In the end, the shape of the track lateral deflection as a function of temperature are evaluated.
Lateral Resistance of Sleepers with Plastic Sleeper Anchors
Hyžák, Vít ; Malovaný, Lubomír (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis study lateral-resistance of sleepers with plastic sleeper anchors EVA V. The paper compares lateral-resistance of sleepers with plastic sleeper anchors to sleepers with steel sleeper anchors and sleepers without sleeper anchors. Furthermore, the document includes comparison of lateral-resistance of sleepers with plastic sleeper anchors in the moment shortly after permanent track reconstruction with a moment after approximately 7 months later. The thesis also determine possibility of application plastic sleeper anchors in track construction.
Design of Reconstruction of Railway Section Kunovice - Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště km 0,3 - 2,0
Řehůřek, Tomáš ; Maršalík, Jakub (referee) ; Hruzíková, Miroslava (advisor)
The main purpose of this thesis is to look at the reconstruction of single railway track Kunovice – Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště in the section km 0,3 – 2,0. The section starts at the connection to the last switch in railway station Kunovice and ends in the railway station Uherské Hradiště. The thesis also includes the reconstruction of Kunovice's neck of station tracks in the station Uherské Hradiště. In the next part of the thesis I present the design of the drainage's recover. The following parts consider the ability to increase the track speed, the plan of technology how to make the reconstruction as well as the bill of quantities.
