Celebrations of end World War II in broadcasting Czechoslovak and Czech television

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the quantitative content analysis of the media image of the national holiday of the end of II. World War in the period from 1980 to 2020 in the main news broadcast of Czechoslovak and Czech Television. The aim of this work is to describe the development of the media image, which changes during the changing political regimes and changes in the function of television, which at this time survives from the function of national medium to the medium of public service. The possibilities of the bachelor's thesis examine the changes in the media content of the national holiday in connection with its historical interpretation, which has changed several times within the news and Czechoslovak and Czech laws. In the theoretical parts of the bachelor's thesis focusing on public holidays in society, role of television as important medium during national and religioun holidays and historical conversation with the Czechoslovak and later the Czech national holiday at the end of II. World War, the name itself. They use all these aspects of the bachelor thesis so that they can be used for scientific questions. How the media image of the national holiday of the end of World War II changed in news programs provided the greatest space and how it was reported.

Self-reflection of the Czech sport journalists working between 1980 and 1999 in printed media and the influence of ideology on their role in society

The thesis titled Self-reflection Of Czech Sport Journalists Working Between 1980 And 1999 In Printed Media And The Influence Of Ideology On Their Role In Society focuses on a question of whether the work of writing sport journalists was influenced by the ruling ideology before 1989. The thesis is based on biographical interviews of five sport journalists, which were taken while using the help of oral history research method. The sport journalists bring their testimonies, memories, experiences and stories associated with the period of normalization, the Velvet Revolution and the post-revolutionary period. The biggest emphasis is placed on a degree of impact of the ruling ideology on the editorial process before 1989. Therefore the thesis touches themes of self-censorship, targeted campaigns, relationships of the journalists to the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia or to The National Security. The work brings views of still writing sport journalists, who evaluate their motivation to do the profession, their ongoing journalistic career and the role of sport journalists in society. Christian Rituals and Substitute Rituals with Reference to Social Situation in Czechoslovakia of the 2nd Half of the 20th Centrury

The thesis in its first part describes the evolution of rituals in general from the anthropological point of view. The focal topic of the thesis is an attempt to explain the reasons for arising of other non-Christian rituals in the course of history, with special emphasis on rituals of the 2nd half of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia, mainly of the period of the totalitarian regime. The thesis aims to ask about legitimacy of substituting Christian rituals, whether they have been just mere substitution or whether we can regard them as complementary or paralel rituals. The Charity magazine and its changes during early years of comunism in ČR

Work called The Charity magazine in the years of 1946 to 1951 is separated into four main chapters. In the first chapter there is described international political situacion of the early years after World war 2. In the secon chapter there are informations about political situation in Czechoslovakia(same timeline).Third chapter is about relation between comunistic system and catolics in Czechoslovakia in the years of 1946 - 1951. Final chapter is about Charity magazine. Some information about Charity directors (1945 - 1951) is also included in this chapter.
