Analysis of material flow in the loading system production using computer simulation
Loprais, Pavel ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the elaboration of a literary review of computer software used for modelling and simulating material flow in manufacturing. According to the proposed layout concept, a computer simulation model of loading circuits will be created, including the configuration of basic operational parameters using the Plant Simulation program. The work involves a detailed description of information flows in the loading line, including the implementation of proposed systems into the computer model. An analysis will be conducted to assess the impact of simulation model parameters on the discussed characteristics of material and information flows.
Analysis of material flow in a logistics center with external production entities using computer simulation
Tůma, Dominik ; Krejčí, Miroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
Warehousing companies often reach a point where they need to examine and improve their internal material flow setup. This is often overlooked and not given as much attention. For this reason, the bachelor thesis, in cooperation with JITRANS Logistik, deals with the problem solving in the most problematic warehouse in Dačice. The aim was to evaluate historical data - to determine the warehouse utilization during individual shifts, and to improve the throughput of the current warehouse by proposing two optimization options, using simulation models. The Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software designed by Siemens was used to create the simulation models. The simulation models were compared with each other using simulation experiments. Subsequently, the data obtained from the simulation experiments were evaluated and recommendations for optimizing the material flow were proposed. These suggestions will be submitted to JITRANS Logistik.
Počítačové modelování tepelného namáhání skleněné tabule při gravírování laserem
ZOUBEK, Tomáš
Computer modelling is often used to understand the nature or behaviour of physical phenomena. In this work, a three-dimensional computer model was created from a 25x30x4 mm (width x height x thickness) glass plate on which twenty dots with a radius of 371.54 ?m were burned using a laser engraving process. The distance between the dots was 1.25 mm. A computer simulation of the thermal stress of the laser engraving process was carried out on this model. The input parameters used were the laser travel time between points (0,5 s^(-1)), the duration of the laser discharge (0,5 s^(-1)), the laser power (30 W), the laser intensity and the laser density over a given area (given by equation 11), the heat flux coefficient of the glass sheet (5,7 Wm^(-2)K^(-1)) and the function controlling the firing of the laser beam at specific points and times (equations 5.4 and 5.5). The simulation was carried out for two variants that differed in the order of the fired points. For the first variant, the points were fired chronologically from left to right in rows, whereas for the second variant the points were fired in the order 1, 3, 5, 11, 13, 15, 7, 9, 17, 19, 2, 4, 12, 14, 6, 8, 10, 16 and 20. The second variant proved to be more optimal for the geometry and material studied. It resulted in less thermal stress, as lower temperatures were achieved with a defined laser beam, and at the same time there was a greater time delay between processes stressing the same locations.
Verification of computer simulation in the field of thermal properties of foundry moulds
Šupa, Jan ; Rusín, Karel (referee) ; Cupák, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with thermal qualities of moulding mixtures of foundry mould of various types of sand grains and a computer simulation of the solidification of the cast. The aim of this work is to compare the values of thermal qualities of moulding materials bonded with water glass taken in experimental measurements to the values of thermal qualities of moulding materials connected with organic binding agent contained in simulation software. A sample cast will be moulded in order to evaluate cooling capacities of individual moulding mixtures according the shift of thermal axis. These results will consequently be compared to the results of the simulation.
Systems Design of Correction Coding
Křivánek, Vítězslav ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
Due to growing transmission speed burst-forming errors tend to occur still more frequently not exclusively in data transmission. The presented paper concentrates on the search for alternative burst error correction solutions complementing the existing methods in use. Its objective is an elaboration of a detailed analysis of the issue of convolution codes for error burst correction which can be used in individual anti-error systems and thus an achievement of better results than those attained by mass application of the existing solutions. First the methods implemented to remove or suppress burst errors are briefly characterized. This part is followed by a detailed description of the individual systematic convolution codes by means of mathematical tools which extend the set of possible evaluative criteria of anti-error systems which can be applied while assessing proposals for individual solutions. The acquired code properties are compared with convolution codes as well as with other versions of proposals for message protection against an error burst. The processed convolution codes are subject to testing by means of Matlab mathematical programme simulation in order to validate the correctness of the derived mathematical tools. This is because simulation represents the principal method applied to verify and present an already proposed security process and enables the acquisition of a better overview of the issue at hand. The feasibility of the individual anti-error systems is then confirmed by way of creating a circuit behaviour description in the VHDL language. Its high portability presents a big advantage when drafting individual systems of the actual implementation.
Vibration Propagation Analysis of Coupled Structure Acoustic Space
Kostelník, Jan ; Pellant, Karel (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s thesis Vibration Propagation Analysis of Coupled Structure Acoustic Space is to analyze vibration propagation in combustion engine, from combustion space through solid structure to fluid surroundings. Then analyze the noise increase as pressure changing in fluid space around the solid structure. There was made a analyze of single piston engine in different frequency and piston location. A simulation of distribution of a pressure waves was made in an ANSYS application.
