Smart home based on Loxone
Karnatov, Vitalij ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
In this thesis, the issue of intelligent home was addressed. The aim of the work was to describe and explain the concept of smart home, to conduct a research of available systems on our market and to describe the principles and functioning of smart home through the Loxone system. Furthermore, the thesis describes the design and implementation of a intelligent home through the Loxone system and its configuration in the Loxone Config software. The thesis marginally discusses the communication protocols used by smart home systems, the historical development and compares intelligent and conventional home.
User Interface for Technology Control
Zapletal, Filip ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This paper describes systems and user interfaces for monitoring and supervisory control of technological equipment. It describes basic approaches used to solve this problem, commonly used communication protocols and existing user interfaces. Based on those findings are defined requirements for design of a modern user interface for technology supervision and control, particularly in the area of clean and waste water distribution systems. The thesis concludes with a description of a user interface based on defined requirements and finally compares them with existing systems.
Home security system - remote access module
Šarda, Petr ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with remote access module for electric security systems (ESS). The design is based on valid standards that apply to a production of electric security system. It includes a design of module connection to the central that controls the module. There is also a communication protocol for connection with the central and with the user. The last step is development of web interface, which is realized on the selected development kit.
Application for the HAWK regulator
Kvasnička, Petr ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of intelligent buildings management and practical use of the control system HAWK from company Honeywell. The thesis describes the basic problem of intelligent building management, exactly why they created and how it is possible to implement building automation, including a listing of available equipment that can be used in these systems. The thesis also discusses one of the systems that can be used for building control. The control system is called HAWK and thesis describes the programming environment and connectable peripherals. For a given control system is formed in the scrubbing practical demonstration device wind tunnel, which is shown using the work of the control system.
Analyzing the S7 protocol and creating a virtualized industrial scenario
Srovnal, Dominik ; Kuchař, Karel (referee) ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (advisor)
Industrial network is frequent target of attacks used to damage production and disrupt today infrasctructure. It is necessary to capture such attacks and be able to react correctly to them. That is the reason, why it is necessary to deal with the problematics from the very beginning to the final element. Meaning of this is a prevention of possible attacks and the prerequisite for preventing such attacks on network communication. In order to detect potential weaknesses, communication analyzes and simulations need to be performed. This can be achieved using sofware designed specificly for such situations. Thus two programs were created to simulate the industrial scenario and analyze the S7 protocol. The data received from this communication were analyzed and subsequently scrutinized.
Using of voice for home eguipment control
Bubla, Lukáš ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on home automation, specifically on voice control. It describes methods of communication and control of automated systems and especially problematics of computer voice recognition using different methods. The thesis displays specific product for voice controlling developed by Czech company Elko ep, s.r.o. and then briefly looks at the issue of gesture control. At the end compares product from Elko ep with other products from foreign companies and discuss advantages and disadvantages of voice or gestures control.
Internet of Things (IoT) Security Risks and Threat
Urbanovský, Jozef ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of security and attacks on the Internet of Things devices. The document addresses nature of Internet of Things, its characteristics and information security. The thesis analyzes dierent protocols and standards used by Internet of Things and types of network attacks. Part of work consists of packet capture analysis from IoT honeypot and showcases discoverd attacks. In fnal part, one specifc IoT device is analyzed in terms of security, around which is created an experimental IoT system. Subsequently this system is penetration tested with dierent attacks, thus creating new datasets.
Communication protocol for built-in facilities
Dolák, Petr ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Herman, Ivo (advisor)
Questions connected with communication technologies are really serious problem worldwide and this Bachelor’s thesis deals with this topic. Concretely is aim of this thesis Communication protocols. They are one of the basic keys in any data transfer, becausse they creates the basic environment for communication between users. First part of this thesis specifies nowadays used communication technologies, however range of Bachelor’s thesis do not give enough space for discussion all used technologies. The main aim of this part is to discuss used technologies on first three levels OSI model. It has been given to made a three layer solution and it has two possible results. In the second and third part has been this two results discussed, by realizing two differnet communication protocols. The first one deals with three lower levels of OSI model, and it is connected to non-error transfer and working with data. It means uploading and downloading them. Protocol build on higer levels of OSI model delas with good communication, however is more specified for services used by in-built units. The last part of this thesis includes diagrams and simulations performed in SDL language.
Development of controller unit for robotic vehicle Car4
Šůstek, Jan ; Adámek, Roman (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creation of new control unit for experimental vehicle CAR4. In the first part there are described basic communication protocols and checksum algorithms. In the second part of the work, the electronic diagram of the new control unit and the printed circuit board are designed and control algorithm is optimized. Also there is established communication between control unit and computer and creation of DC motor speed regulation.
Design and implementation of Quarter-Hour maximum controller
Žiačik, Martin ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of regulation of the quarter - hour maximum applied in an industrial PLC. The value of the quarter-hour maximum significantly affects the customer's monthly payments, so the correct setting of this value is a very important prerequisite for savings. In order to avoid unintentional exceeding of the set quarter-hour maximum and subsequent penalties, large customers regulate their consumption appropriately. In the theoretical part of the thesis is an analysis of the problem with a focus on electricity meters and their various communication options suitable for connection to a PLC. Next, in the following chapters, the theoretical analysis continues with an introduction of battery systems and OZE regarding the regulation of quarter-hour highs. The main contribution of this bachelor's thesis is the definition of requirements for regulation and the base design of the algorithm for regulating quarter-hour maximum, which also disposes the possibility of using battery systems and OZE.
