Effatha choir

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to inform in detail about the phenomenon that is the nationwide choir of the Church of the Brethren Effatha. It describes the formation of the choir from singing retreats in Slovakia in the second half of the 1980's, its history and transformation into its present form, and also discusses the goals and visions of the choir. These include, among others, inspiring worship of God, promoting and fostering sacred music in the church, and working with children and youth. It also describes the spiritual aspect of the choir's work, through interviews with current or past singers of the choir. The thesis further explores in more detail the choir's main activities, its musical style and the personalities that have shaped it. In addition to church-wide journals, the important sources of information were mainly the testimonies of Tibor Máhrik and Roman Toušek and sources made available in the choir's archives. Architectural study of the sacred building and the Salesian community center in Brno - Líšeň

The task of the diploma thesis is the design of the sacral building of Salesians and community center in Brno – Líšeň. The founder of the Salesian order is the Italian priest John Bosco. The Salesian style stands on three pillars: reason, religion and kindness. It is a style of educational work, based on a preventive system and constant assistance. The Salesian congregation and subsequently the entire complex of the center in the urban district Brno-Líšeň received help from the foundation fund for youth, which he started in 1998 its construction. The proposed facility should cover the remaining needs of visitors and should be accessible to the general public. As a result, an architectural design was created, which includes an object of church with a parish section and a community center. The sacral object consists of a dominant glass cube standing on a one-storey long base and a community centre building with parish housing. At the centre of the composition is a parish garden with a steel bell tower. The whole complex consists of two masses connected by a steel colonnade. The first main mass includes a church with a back yard. The second mass of the complex is the community centre with the main coworking space and the parish priest's accommodation.
The Coro d'Oro Choir and the personality of Marcela Miková

The bachelor thesis deals with the choir Coro d'Oro and the personality of Marcela Miková. The first part is devoted to the Coro d'Oro choir. It describes the origin of the choir and its subsequent development with an overlap into the past, which is crucial for the history of the choir and its present functioning. Next, the work includes a chapter dealing with the leadership of the choir and then introduces the choir itself. The second part focuses on the personality of Marcela Miková. There is information about her life, choir directorship and pedagogical activities.
"Music Scene" - a concert hall for the city of Brno

The subject of this thesis is the design concept of the architectural study of a concert hall, namely the proposal for a "MUSIC SCENE" - the concert hall for the city of Brno. As part of this study is therefore designed a hall for 591 visitors. Hall enables performances to 90-member orchestra or choir. The solution is also operating and maintenance facilities necessary facilities like auditorium. The main emphasis was put on the acoustic solution, then the overall transparency in the operation of the building and the continuity of the building and the surrounding development mainly to the existing communication system that tries to respect.

The Master´s thesis contains the methodology of the baroque church reconstruction from 17th and 18th centuries. An unmarked floor plan has been preserved from the original idea. The process of applying knowledge, professional literature, comparison, research in archives and personal inspection of similar buildings created a hypothetical model of the church with its complete documentation. In the process of reconstruction, a number of questions were answered. The result of the work is the design of a hypothetical church. At the same time, the author has acquired the principles and regularities of designing buildings in the baroque period with regard to their thinking, knowledge and technical possibilities at this period.
Information System with a Photogallery and a Diary for a Choir

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to develope an information system for the choir Vox Iuvenalis according to the specified requirements of the proposer. The main purpose is to provide the communication between the conductor and choir's members and between choir's members each other. The thesis describes information technologies which were utilized for realization: Zend Framework, PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Spiritual brownfield Olomouc - Zlín

The assignment of this diploma thesis is the proposal of the Christian sacral centre as an extension of a current site of pilgrimage. Site is situated near Napajedelská brána by Zlin. Proposal is based on previous analysis of the regions of Valašsko and Haná. One of the most serious problems is a lack of spiritual and liturgical sites in the area of Zlín. The analysis and synthesis preceding this diploma thesis are enclosed. The analysis of sites of pilgrimage in the area of Zlín was one of the studied subjects. The assignment of the diploma thesis was created using a combination of discovered data – design of the site of pilgrimage including a church and spiritual centre. This thesis deals with the design of a church as a site of pilgrimage, facilities, accomodation for clergymen and pilgrims. The composition is based on three main objects – church, entrance house and accomodation. The composition is complemented by campanile and „baptistery“. An object itself has two above-ground floors and basement with spa. Some of the spaces in the building have to be functionally separated due to different approach of visitors. Part of the building is a garden which is ideologically and functionally inspired by monastery claustrum.

Theme of diploma thesis is „Music scene“ - a concert hall for city of Brno. Thesis consists of architectural study of concert hall including foyer, functional and service spaces. Capacity of Hall is 724 spectators divided in three floors of auditorium and can host up to 85 of orchestral musicians and 50 members of choir. Concept makes architectural study, which respect surrounding buildings but creates interesting space.
The past and present of Liberec choirs Cum decore and Cum amore

This bachelor thesis concerns two related Liberec choirs: Cum decore and Cum amore, also known as Potěr (Spawn). This paper offers insight into their history from 1991, when the original choir was established, up to April 2023. The aim of this thesis is to gather all relevant pieces of information spread across many sources into one document. These pieces of information are to be classified systematically with regard to their chronological order and their topic. The outdated data are to be updated. The period of existence of the choir or choir departments is divided into four main stages of development. The first stage refers to the period when there was the original choir which had been led by Ludvík Lukuvka. The second stage describes the first six years after Čeněk Svoboda became the main choirmaster. The third stage corresponds to the school year 2007/2008 as it is when the choir was divided into its two departments: Cum decore and Cum amore or Potěr. The fourth stage lasts from then up to the school year 2022/2023 and each of these two departments is described in its own section. Every stage contains information on the number of the members, repertoire, projects, uniforms and support specialists of the choir or.choir departments. The Salesian congregation and subsequently the entire complex of the center in the urban district Brno-Líšeň received help from the foundation fund for youth, which he started in 1998 its construction. The proposed facility should cover the remaining needs of visitors and should be accessible to the general public. As a result, an architectural design was created, which includes an object of church with a parish section and a community center. The sacral object has a monumental appearance and its shape consists of a dominant cube standing on a monumental and long base, thus fitting into the contemporary surroundings and reacting to its overall structure. The composition is completed by a high concrete belfry. The entire complex consists of two masses connected by a covered colonnade. The first main mass includes a church with a rectory. The church can accommodate almost three hundred visitors. The parsonage serves as accommodation for the parish priest and other members of the congregation, and has access to the parish atrium. The second part of the complex is the community center with the main space of the multifunctional hall and administration.
