Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosis cervicobrachial syndrome. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is processing of the case study of a patient with diagnosis cervicobrachial syndrome, a summary of theoretical knowledge, designing therapy and monitoring its progress. Method: This thesis was created as a research with case study during continuous professional practice held from 6. 1. 2014 to 31. 1. 2014 at Institute of clinical and experimental medicine in Prague, where I was working with a patient after kidney transplantation who attended the dialysis there. The thesis is divided into two parts - general and special. The first (general) part deals with the theoretical knowledge of kinesiology of the shoulder joint, includes information on the most common diagnoses affecting shoulder joint, cervicobrachial syndrome definition and with respect to my patient's basic information on kidney transplantation and hemodialysis. The second (special) part describes case study of a patient with cervicobrachial syndrome, the process of suggested therapy and evaluation of its effect. Barbora Pyšková Thesis title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosed with cervicobrachial syndrome Thesis goal: The goal of the thesis is to summarize theoretical and methodological basis of the cervicobrachial syndrome and to describe their use in the rehabilitation of a patient with this diagnosis. Methodological approach: The thesis is divided into two main sections, a general and a special one. The general section contains anatomical, biochemical a kinesiological knowledge related to vertebrogenic illnesses. Then, the description of cervicobrachial syndrome, its clinical symptoms, etiology and treatment options are presented. The special part is the core of the thesis. It was prepared on the basis of countinuous professional practice at the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague, from January 5 to 30, 2015. It consists of a detailed case report of a patient with cervicobrachial syndrome, offering history, input kinesiology analysis, short-term and long-term physiotherapic plan, the course of therapy, kinesiology exit examination and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Name of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with diagnosis of cervicobrachial syndrome Summary: This thesis deals with processing of case reports of the patient with diagnosis of cervicobrachial syndrome, further specified as cervicobrachial syndrome with root irritation. The bachelor's thesis is dividend into general and special part. The general part of this thesis includes informations about the cervicobrachil syndrome, the cervical root syndromes, the treatment and physiotherapeutic methods. Special part of this thesis contains detailed case study of patient with cervicobrachial syndrome with cervical root compression C7. It contains the input and output kinesiology analysis, short- and long-term plan, records of the therapeutic units and description of each therapy. This case report was written on the basis of the practical experience in Nemocnice Na Bulovce in Prague, from 13th January to 7th February 2014.
