Abrasive water jet cutting
Midrla, Zdeněk ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This master thesis is consisted of literature search and practise part with focusing on the theme of abrasive water jet cutting. Introductory chapters deal with various methods and principles water jet cutting. Following chapters deal with quality of cutting surface by abrasive water jet cutting. After these chapters is introduced machine equipment of water jet cutting technology. At the end of this theoretical part are listed advantages and comparison with other unconventional technologies. In the practical part is solved design of machinery with regard to manufacturing technology of component flange in series 630 000 pieces per year. Last chapter describes economic evaluation of production.
Proposal or the new layout of the "toolshop"
Varhaník, Matúš ; Zahradníček, Radim (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work was creating the draft of stamping tool workshop layout. Our first task was to define the product range. Afterwards we were able to identify the technological and machinery equipment necessary for the execution of orders. The paper further discusses the need of human resources as well as the needs of the production, administrative and social areas. We propose possible technological solutions considering the range of production, the amount of machinery and personnel capacities. The next step is to optimize the layout, using tools such as material flow and continuity of operations. Not only safety at work but also the ergonomics of the proposed workplace is important for the final draft. The result of our project is to develop the final layout of stamping tool workshop containing the economic evaluation of the investment plan.
Optimal layout proposal of technological workplaces and storage in a mechanical engineering company
Janderka, Pavel ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The thesis presents a proposal of the arrangement of technological workplaces and warehouse in TIRAD s r.o. Analysis of the current situation revealed shortcomings in the current location of workplaces. Based on these findings and capacity calculations, two possible solutions have been developed. The first solution was to optimize existing production. The second solution, which was subsequently assessed as more appropriate, involves relocating production to a new production hall. This hall has a larger total production area where we can choose the machine layout to ensure the ideal material flow. Larger areas also guarantee the future development and expansion of the fleet. Thanks to a suitable layout, the transport distances have been reduced and thus the handling times have been reduced to less than half of the current state, resulting in both time and money savings.
Optimization in conveyer rollers production
Veverka, Štěpán ; Heinl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rumíšek, Pavel (advisor)
Presented document deals with optimization in conveyer rollers production in accordance with rationalizing project for Transroll – CZ, s.r.o. company. With consideration of available literature from section of technological projection and technology of machining, the industrial process is analyzed with focus on material flow and layout solution of factory shop. Consecutively the options of possible machines allocation are designed, which eliminate some disadvantages of default position. Selection of suitable option, its evaluation and technical-economic evaluation of whole project are also parts in this document.
Optimization of manufacturing process in a selected company
Koníček, Jan ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with optimalization of manufacturing process in engineering company Kovokon Popovice s.r.o. First part is fucused on streamlining of material flow by using circular method and triangulation method simple, from which there are three variants of workplace layouts and the most advantageous one is selected. In the next phase of optimalization, a block diagram is compiled for original prodiction and subsequently for the modified one by using machining center replacing previous machines. Capacity calculations are then calculated for the block diagrams, which express percentage use of workplace and numbers of workers needed to produce selected component. In the last part of optimalization, the requied size of the central material werehouse, number of cranes and forklifts are calculated.
Proposal mechanical workshop in a small engineering company
Smrkal, David ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with proposal mechanical workshop in a small engineering company. A disposition is proposed for component the gear. It must produce 150 000 pieces per year. The mechanical workshop is intended for serial production of gears, where design gear is supposed to be the most complicated product. On the basis of the literary study a problem of arrangement of workplaces and principle issues of designing mechanical workshop was designed a hall, which was situated in a subject arrangement. Machines are placed according to technological process. The width of hall was chosen a standardized value 18 m. By means of the capacity calculations were determined numbers of machines, workers and the place of the mechanical workshop.
Layout solution of a small workmanship within a given company
Urban, Antonín ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the process of making a disposition draft of a small machineshop producing 70000 bearing housings per year. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on fundamentals of designing machining production units. Practical part describes in detail the process of designing dispositional solution for the machineshop which is based on performed capacity calculations. These calculations were used as a guide in the process of designing two diferent machineshops. The first one is fitted with conventional machining devices whereas the second machineshop uses CNC mills to produce the housing. These two projects are compared to each other to give reader a better picture on which machineshop of the two is better.
Production logistics of printed circuits desks
Susko, Petr ; Starý, Jiří (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a new plant for the production of printed circuit boards with a capacity of 40,000 square meters per year. Describes the basic principles of a new production, production logistics principles and technological design, procedure for application of the method SLP, placement of production areas and capacity calculation of employees and machines. It also describes the technological process of production of printed circuit boards with subtractive method and discusses the different steps of production with regard to the proposed production. The practical part deals with the actual realization of the project, a selection of production technology, machinery, design the layout of the building, capacity calculations, deployment tools, practical application of the method SLP, visualization of production in the Plavis VisTable software, waste management and economic evaluation of project costs.
Technological project at the engineering company
Smrkal, David ; Šenkýř, Jan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The Master Thesis deals with technological project in the engineering company, that is named MAXAREN Ltd. The Thesis includes theoretical part about technological designing, analysis of the current status of the company, capacity calculations, layout and technical and economic assessment. The calculations are calculated based on the typical product of the company. The layout, that is designed in a technological arrangement, was made using capacity calculations and optimizations given by the company. It is clear from the technical a economic assessement that the investment is appropriate.
