High-speed shaft production design
Polesný, Pavel ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
In the bachelor's thesis, a production process of the crankshaft of a single-cylinder two-stroke engine is designed. The flywheel has a diameter of 20.5 mm, the crank pin has a diameter 9 g6, the connecting rod pin has a diameter 4 g6, and the total length is 63.5 mm. Due to the production batch of 1000 pieces, the machining method was selected. The crankshaft will be produced as a monolith. Then the grooves at the ends of the ground surfaces 9 g6 and 4 g6 were addressed. Due to the wall thickness of 1.25 mm, the surfaces will be without grooves, and a radius or chamfer will be in the corners. The axial bearing and the connecting rod have an internal chamfer of 0.7x45°, thus grooves are unnecessary. The chosen material is 15.142 steel, tempered to a lower strength, supplied in 25x3000 mm bars by ZJP, s.r.o. The semifinished part will be manufactured on a Swiss-type lathe Manurhin K'MX EVO 732. After nitriding, the part will be ground on a Bernardo URS 500 N grinder. For the machining on the EVO 732, OPTIMA EXTREMECUT 46 mineral oil was chosen, and for grinding, a 2% concentration emulsion mixed from BITOL M petroleum emulsion oil was selected. Then the technological process was developed, and operational instructions were created. Calculations determined that 26 bars are needed for the production of the specified series. The entire series production will take just under 4 shifts.
Design of universal belt grinder
Skala, Ondřej ; Kvarda, Daniel (referee) ; Valena, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design of a universal belt grinder with the capability for both vertical and horizontal grinding, aiming to maximize its usage potential. Several grinding attachments have been designed for the grinder, with attention to high quality, versatility, and user-friendly operation. The theoretical part describes grinding, types of belt grinders, and abrasive belts. Based on the research, specific requirements for the belt grinder are established, and a suitable type of construction is selected from the conceptual solutions. This is followed by a design proposal supported by calculations necessary for the proper and reliable operation of the machine and stress analysis using the finite element method. The final part describes the manufacturing and assembly of the machine, concluding with the verification of the functionality of the entire belt grinder, including all grinding attachments. The result is a fully functional belt grinder that meets the specified requirements.
Design of production technology for a distribution block
Večeřa, Jiří ; Píška, Miroslav (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The master's thesis focuses on the design of manufacturing technology for a selected component made of ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the technologies used in component manufacturing, such as turning, milling, drilling, surface grinding, honing, thermal energy debburing and phosphating. The subsequent sections specify the specific production machines and cutting tools utilized in the component manufacturing process. In the practical part, a technological procedure is proposed, describing the sequence of manufacturing operations required for producing the component. It also includes inspection operations for measuring tolerances. Additionally, manufacturing instructions are provided, offering a detailed description of individual manufacturing operations and specifying the frequency of tolerance checks. The thesis concludes with a technical-economic evaluation, summarizing the material costs for production preparation, the costs for ensuring the production itself, and evaluating the manufacturing technology.
Design of technology for gear manufacturing
Urbánek, Michal ; Píška, Miroslav (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the design of production technology and the choice of machines and tools to achieve the required accuracy according to the drawing documentation. During the design of production options, the advantages and disadvantages of gear machining variants were described. In the theoretical part, the technologies of the proposed operations were described, such as turning, milling of gears in a rolling method, shaving and grinding. In the practical part, the production itself is described in all sixteen operations that were needed to produce the part. Instructions and tables of measured dimensions were created for each machine operation. The economic evaluation summarizes material costs, machine and preparation times depending on the size of the production batch.
New methods for outer and inner rotary surfaces production.
Urban, Jan ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This research contains a survey of some methods for outer and inner rotary surfaces production such as turning, grinding, honing, finishing, lapping, drilling, core-drillings and reaming. Comparison of dimensional accuracy and the achievable surface roughness of different methods.
A proposal of production technology of a hinge part
Urbánek, Vojtěch ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This thesis is aimed on proposal of production technology, NC codes and production of selected hinge part. The theoretical part describes the technologies of milling, surface grinding and hole grinding as technologies used during production and as non-production technologies of CAD/CAM software. Selected production machines and cutting tools are also specified and a technological process is proposed including all the steps and operations for the production of the hinge part. According to the proposed production plan, the work in two different CAM systems for the NC code of the machining center is described. The practical part describes the production on a CNC machining center and grinders. The economic evaluation summarizes material costs, setting production costs and the production and cooperation costs.
Description of outside grinding machines
Brychta, Tomáš ; Opl, Miroslav (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis is completioned background research and outside grinding machines description. In the introduction of this thesis are shown the aims which will be reached while elaborating. This thesis includes general introduction about grinding, where is mentioned definition of the grinding, description and grit distribution on grinder, parametres of grinders, reached geometric accuracy, reached surface roughness, cross section of cuttings, definition of the main and alternate movement and cutting conditions on the tool and on the workpiece at grinding.Furthermore general partition of grinding machines types, view and the parting of the grinding machines producers, with the references to their web sites and with data about country of origin for each of these producers. After it the thesis focus only on outside grinding machines and in their division. In centre grinding machines is shown their division and characterictics, ways of grinding and description of each way and there are shown producers of centre grinding machines with concrete tips of machines too. In each of this machine are shown its preferences and engineering characteristic. In profile grinding machines is shown its characteristic, producers of profile grinding machines and tips of these machines. In surface grinding machines is shown characteristic of surface grinding, the partition of the surface grinding machines, ways of grinding and description each way, producers of these grinding machines and tips of separate machine with its preferences and engineering characteristic. The last type of the outside grinding machines are centreless grinding machines. There is shown characteristic of centreless grinding, ways of grinding and the description each of the way, producers of centreless grinding machines and tips of these machines with its description and engineering characteristic. By the centreless grinding are shown even the ways of double disk grinding with the examples of utilization this grinding. The work is ended by finish, where is shown overall assessment in the way of grinding machines development, resources and innovations, which the producers using to increasing precision of the machines.
Production technology of drill
Křehlík, Luboš ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The work deals with production technology stepped drill of cemented carbides. Handles the basic methods and information technology grinding. Cemented carbides are becoming more frequent choice of material for processing in many industrial directions. They allow widespread use due to their mechanical and technological properties. Tools of this material are manufactured on a 5-axis grinding machines. The use of precision CNC machines enables efficient and accurate production of both simple and complex cutting tools. Software CNC machines allow you to control the 3D simulation before production begins, it's a convenient tool for checking the functionality of the program. It is also possible to establish the production of the subsequent dimensional control of the finished piece. These CNC machines and cemented carbide tools can be used for both serial and piece production.
