Evaluation of properties of PMB containing binder from RAP

Subject of this diploma thesis is to describe the effect of adding different amount of aged binder recovered from RAP on the change of properties of polymer modified bitumen. The RAP containing unmodified bitumen and the RAP where we can expect bitumen modification are used to recover binder. The binder obtained from RAP is dosed into the virgin binder in amount of 15 %, 30 % and 50 %. The methods of recycling of flexible pavements, extraction and regeneration of asphalt binders, rejuvenating of their properties and methods of empirical and functional laboratory tests are described in the theoretical part. The practical part deals with evaluating and comparison of the results mixed binders properties.

Evaluation of properties of clear and pigmented asphalt binders

The Bachelor thesis subject is comparison of the chosen parameters of clear asphalt binder with pigmented asphalt binder. The theoretical part explains parameters of asphalt binders and improving their properties after using additives. The second part is explaining methods and test results. The empirical tests (needle penetration, softening point, breaking point) and performance tests in dynamic shear rheometer and bending beam rheometer are used for comparison of binders properties. In the conclusion the laboratory aging of asphalt binders is described by RTFOT and RTFOT + PAV method.

This master´s thesis deals with the creation of a model that explains the relationship between the amount of gross wages and selected economic factors in different regions of the Czech Republic. First part contains an explanation of terms of economic and statistical area. The second part deals with the creation of data basis and numerical model calculations. In this section the results of the analyzes are presented. The third part is focused on evaluation of the obteined results.

Possibility of mixing PMB RC type binders with reclaimed binder from RAP

The diploma thesis deals with the possibility of mixing binders of the PMB RC type with a binder made of reclaimed ashalt. lists the types of asphalt binders, its production and modification are in the teoretical part. There is explained the principle of rejuvenators function, types of rejuvenators. The procedures for performing tests on asphalt binders: recovery of asphalt binder, needle penetration, softening point (ring and ball method), reversible ductility, breaking point (according to Fraass) and DSR. Individual tests are evaluated and asphalt mixtures are compared in the practical part of asphalt binder. Influence of aging on selected properties of asphalt binders

In this bachelor’s thesis, the properties of four asphalt binders with different degree of modification are compared. The influence of aging on their properties is examined. In the theoretical part, the types of aging, their impact on binders, basic laboratory methods of aging and the details of performed tests are explained. In the practical part, the results of tests are evaluated and the change of properties before and after aging are compared.

This thesis deals with business plan and its specifics in Food & Beverage Industry based on an academic research. In the practical part, business plan for a vegan bistro is created based on information previously researched. The concept of the bistro is presented in detail together with the competition analysis. Marketing plan is created and costs of marketing communication are determined. The main emphasis is on financial planning of the project, costs, revenues and profit/loss generated are identified. Balance sheets together with profit and loss statements aree established for 5 years of operation. Risks of the project are identified as well. Last but not least, recommendations for economical sustainability are suggested.
