3D modeling of a part of the building of SPŠ stavební Brno
Penk, David ; Jursík, Petr (referee) ; Kuruc, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the creation of a 3D model from data collected by laser scanning. The first part deals with the theoretical foundations of buildings information modeling and method of laser scanning. The rest of the work describes the detailed process from data collection to the creation of the model. Most of the space is devoted to work in the Revit software environment.
3D scanning method of environment via Kinect sensor
Kumpán, Pavel ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Růžička, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of Microsoft Kinect sensor to create a three-dimensional model of the environment. The thesis describes a method for scanning the environment and its implementation for common CPUs and GPUs. The outcome of this work is an application that allows scanning the environment and creating a model in the form of a point cloud or a polygon mesh.
Vehicles' 3D model making
Pták, Adam ; Mikulec, Roman (referee) ; Křižák, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of creating spatial models of vehicles. The first part of this theses consists of a theoretical introduction, which explains the basic terms and methods that can be used in the creation of vehicle models. This is followed by a section that deals the current state of knowledge in this field of interest. This chapter is followed by a practical part, which deals with the creation of vehicle models using selected methods. In the last section, the findings from the practical part are summarised and evaluated. The aim of the thesis is to create models of several vehicles. On the basis of these models, the following methods are evaluated in terms of time and financial requirements. At the same time, the accuracy of the methods used in the creation of the models and their possible further use is also evaluated.
Metric survey documentation of the main palace of Veveří Castle
Hirš, Bořivoj ; Kratochvíl, Radim (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
The aim of thesis was a production of blueprints of part of the 3rd floor of the main palace of Veveří castle. The survey was accomplished by the means of laser scanning and was followed up by the point cloud-based production of 2D drawings. It consists of the layout, cross sections, facade views in a scale of 1:50. These CAD drawings will be used for reconstruction of the 3rd floor of the building. The thesis consists of theoretical part further divided to the location presentation, survey methods used description and specifics of the heritage objects documentation. Then the practical part follows with processing and production of data in various software description.
6-DOF Object Localization in Industrial Applications
Macurová, Nela ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a method for the object localization in the point could and as accurately as possible estimates the 6D pose of known objects in the industrial scene for bin picking. The design of the solution is inspired by the PoseCNN network. The solution also includes a scene simulator that generates artificial data. The simulator is used to generate a training data set containing 2 objects for training a convolutional neural network. The network is tested on annotated real scenes and achieves low success, only 23.8 % and 31.6 % success for estimating translation and rotation for one type of obejct and for another 12.4 % and 21.6 %, while the tolerance for correct estimation is 5 mm and 15°. However, by using the ICP algorithm on the estimated results, the success of the translation estimate is 81.5 % and the rotation is 51.8 % and for the second object 51.9 % and 48.7 %. The benefit of this work is the creation of a generator and testing the functionality of the network on small objects
Detection of changes in the scene captured by the drone at different times
Vo svojej práci som vytvoril aplikáciu využívajúcu najlepšie rekonštrukčné nástroje súčasnosti, ktorá dáva používateľovi možnosť nahrávať dáta, usporiadavať ich do letov, rekonštruovať ich do trojdimenzionálnych modelov a zobrazovať rozdiely v objeme medzi letmi v rôznych časoch.
Research of old rockfalls using LiDAR data
Rusá, Veronika ; Štefanová, Eva (advisor) ; Pavelka, Karel (referee)
This thesis addresses the issue of detecting and modeling old rockfalls using LiDAR data. The study area chosen for investigation is Dlouhý Důl, located in the České Švýcarsko National Park. The main objective of this research is to map, retrospectively analyze, and model historical rockfall events. To achieve this, a comprehensive workflow for modeling rockfalls using open-source software was proposed and tested. The specific goals of the thesis included processing the laser data to create a point cloud and conducting data quality checks. A crucial aspect was determining the optimal viewing angle for analysis. The software PosPac and RiProcess were utilized for data preprocessing. Another important step was the generation of a Digital Relief Model (DMR), essential for detecting and modeling rockfalls. The point cloud filtering and segmentation were pursued as ancillary objectives and tested using two software applications, CloudCompare and OPALS. For the evaluation and modeling of rockfalls, QGIS with the QPROTO plugin was employed. Additionally, a literature review on the development and methodologies related to rockfalls was conducted. The theoretical section describes the definition of rockfalls, including the factors contributing to slope movements, as well as LiDAR technology, point cloud...
