Proteomics based approach for identification of enzymes degrading the plant biomass
Romanová, Kristýna ; Ing.Ondřej Kosík, Ph.D. (referee) ; Flodrová, Dana (advisor)
The theoretical part of work is focused on the issue of biomass which can be used for energy purposes, inparticular agricultural waste, as well as can serve as a substrate for biogas station. It also deals with proteomics, its goals and approaches, separation methods. The aim of this work was to measure each sample of enzyme activity of biomass, which are used as a raw materials for biogas plants and their proteomic identification.
The potential of biofuels for modern internal combustion engines
Matyáš, Milan ; Bazala, Jiří (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the potential use of biofuels for modern piston internal combustion engines. The thesis deals with both reducing the environmental impact and a possible increase in performance parameters and engine efficiency such as the use of fuel with increased anti-knock resistance in spark ignition engines.
Utilization of biomass for the energy purposes
Romanová, Kristýna ; Ing.Ondřej Kosík, Ph.D. (referee) ; Flodrová, Dana (advisor)
The theoretical part of work focuses on the issue of biomass used for energy purposes, in particular agricultural waste, which can be used as a substrate for biogas station. Furthermore, examines the composition of polymer substrates, which affects most biogas process. The aim of this work was to measure each sample of enzyme activity of biomass, which is used as a raw material for biogas plants.
Design of Bio-fireplace
Komárková, Kristina ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The main concern of this bachelor thesis is design of bio-fireplace. The thesis describes the design of the product for indoor use which meets aesthetic, safety and ergonomic requirements. During the design process are taken into consideration the structural and material laws. At the same time, emphasis is placed on current trends that are important for creating superior and original design.
Natural gas as fuel for internal combustion engines
Hromádka, Adam ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The content of this Bachelor thesis is a short overview and characteristic of alternative fuels for combustion engines. The main object is detailed analyse of natural gas application in terms of operating, economy and ecology.
Potential of biomass utilization in the Czech Republic
Klímová, Jana ; Otáhal, Jan (referee) ; Košner, Jan (advisor)
Main task of this bachelor work is to focus on splitting and usage of alternative, renewable energy source – biomass, as a source of thermal and combined electrical energy and to review possibility of increasing of consumption of this source on territory of the Czech Republic. In this work certain kinds of biomass, potential and possibility of it’s usage suggestion for utilization, according to Action plan for biomass and main ways of it’s development will be presented.
Úplná charakteristika spalovacího motoru provozovaného na palivo E85
Košťál, Ondřej
This diploma thesis titled Full characteristics of internal combustion engine operating with E85 fuel deals with measurement of characteristics and basic parameters of piston internal combustion petrol engines. Main part of thesis is measurement of defined parameters on petrol engine in motor testing laboratory and evaluation of heath flows and compilation of full characteristics focused on the overall heat balance of the engine.
Hodnocení účinnosti spalovacího motoru při spalování biopaliv
Hřebíček, Marek
This thesis is built on evaluating efficiencies of internal combustion engines fueled with bio-fuels. The ways of incorporating bio-fuels into practice are described in the theoretical section of this thesis, and are divided in categories. Physical and chemical properties of selected bio-fuels are described as well as manufacturing processes. There is also a view on current legislation dealing with bio-fuels in Czech Republic and European Union. Thesis offers an energy losses and effects on selected efficiencies are described. Thesis also includes description of engine operating parameters and their combustion cycles. Practical part of diploma thesis is dealing with measuring and evaluating operating parameters of four chosen automobiles fueled with bio-fuels. Measured data are in tables, statistics and graphics are commented and part of thesis. Based on evaluation of operating parameters it was figured out that effective efficiency increased for all measured cases while running on bio-fuels.
