Beekeeping and its legislation on territory of the ČR

Legal regulation of beekeeping in the territory of the Czech Republic Abstract The work is intent, in its main substance, on the problems of law arrangement which refers to the beekeeping in the actual Czech Republic; indeed, in its extent, it examines the phenomenon of beekeeping in a much broader sight. Primarily, it presents the problems of beekeeping as such and the actual situation of this field of activity in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in the world, it is dedicating to its long historical development and questions of the law relations in its context, and, at one, it particularly accentuates the situation in the Czech countries in such a respect again. The beekeeping, most primarily based on collection of products of the honey-bee generally in Europe's case, or afterwards directly on its domestication, has there a rich tradition - and as early as from the Middle Ages (and naturally, in some other parts of the world since the times even older), at least some relative aspects could be an object of the law nature's various regulations. User Interface for the bee hive management system

The aim of this thesis is to create a user interface for the bee hive management system and its implementation as a multiplatform application. The user will be able to view statistics about their hives, apiaries and manage them. This information is provided by the server and received from special sensors installed directly in the hives. To solve this problem, Ionic framework written in JavaScript language and web technologies HTML and CSS were used. Communication with the server is done using REST API. The final application provides an interactive and user-friendly interface for managing bee hives, and is available on different platforms. The main result of this work is to prove that it is currently possible to create a full-fledged application without knowledge of platform-specific technologies. This approach makes the development of similar projects cheaper, more efficient and much faster.
Analysis and Visualization of Beekeeping Big Data

The aim of this master's thesis is to design and create a web application for beekeepers and the general public using a dashboard tool. The application analyses large datasets from the system ApiVčelař 4.0, originating from modern beekeeping devices such as scales, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and others. The analysed data are linked with other open source data, which are then visualized for the user. The web application is implemented using the Ionic framework with the utilization of the React framework for the user interface. The chosen database system for data storage is PostgreSQL, and the data are processed using Django technology. The selection of technologies is based on the existing application to ensure compatibility with the system ApiVčelař 4.0. The result is an application that provides new insights and information derived from large datasets for users.
Autonomous Beehive

The aim of this work was to construct an electronically controlled beehive. A crucial element of the project was to conduct thorough research on existing IoT and other electronic solutions used in beekeeping. It was essential to analyze the available hardware and software technologies that could be applied to the given issue and select those most suitable for this purpose. Based on the acquired knowledge, individual parts of the beehive were designed and manufactured using a 3D printer. These parts were specially modified to enable the integration of various sensors. An integral part of the solution is also the ventilation system and the custom design of motorized beekeeping frames, which allow for automatic honey collection. Sensor outputs and other data needed to inform the beekeeper about the colony's status are displayed on a web server, to which they are sent via MQTT communication.

Legal regulation of beekeeping Abstract This diploma thesis focuses on the western honey bee, beekeeping and its legal regulation and its history. Considering the fragmentation of Czech legal regulation of beekeeping among numerous acts, the goal of this thesis is to describe it in a logical and comprehensible manner and provide its analysis. Furthemore, the thesis aims to provide a comparison between Czech regulation and regulation abroad as well as evaluate the quality and level of our legislation, eventually suggesting possible adjustments. The thesis mostly uses descriptive and comparative methods as well as the method of analysis and synthesis. When it comes to the interpretation of legal provisions, the textual, logical and systematic methods are prevalently used with the occasional usage of historical and comparative methods. The thesis is divided into eight chapters which are further expanded upon in subchapters and paragraphs. The first chapter focuses on the western honey bee from biological and legal standpoint, distinguishing between the point of view of public law and private law. Intelligent beekeeping system

The aim of this thesis is to design and develop an intelligent beekeeping system that can measure the frequency in the colony, the weight of the hive to monitor the loss or to inform the beekeeper if the bees are carrying honey. Furthermore, the security of the hive against theft is also being considered. Communication between multiple intelligent beekeeping systems is important for the functionality. This is why part of the work focuses on choosing the best possible communication, taking into consideration battery consumption and reliability. In this work, a many-to-one communication system of modules is used, which means that the number of hives can be freely expanded without affecting the functionality of the system. The resulting system is powered by a combination of battery and solar panels.
Mobile application for an intelligent beekeeping system

The aim of this thesis is to design and create an application which will allow beekeepers to manage their hives with a mobile phone.The reason for this is centralisation and clarification of all colected data from visits to the hive, where this data could be later used to create statistics.Furthermore, this app contains ways to notify the beekeeper that there is a need of intervention with the hive using their own alerts and statistics of selected properties of a hive. Simulation and Management System for Beekeepers

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis, design and implementation of the management and simulation system for beekeepers. The management system provides storing, updating and browsing the state of bee hives and is designed for the type of hives with removable frames. The simulation system contains the model of collecting nectar by honey bees and is addapted to management system. Depending on parameters of simulation model the application visualizes locations where would honey bees probably fly for the nectar and shows the amount of collected honey in one day.
Native Mobile Application for Bee Side Monitoring

The aim of this work is to create a multiplatform mobile application, that can help beekeepers who own devices from Forsage.net. This application has been developed by using the framework Nativescript for Android and iOS operating systems. The created result provides the beekeeper with the option to receive notifications, to display a web application and to use Bluetooth to obtain data from sensors. The major benefit of this application is that it provides the beekeeper with an overview on his beehives and warns him in a situation which needs to be responded to immediately.
Multiplatform Mobile Beekeeping Diary

The aim of this work is to create a transparent and intuitive mobile application replacing the classic paper recording of data about bee colonies for beekeepers. Furthermore, to provide the possibility of linking this application to the hive scale for even greater insight into bee colonies. The application is developed on Xamarin platform for Android and iOS. The result of this work is to help beekeepers to work with bees, store their data in a database and enable them to work with them on different devices. Provide the beekeeper with an upto-date overview of their apiaries, colonies and hives, as well as statistics from this data.
