Two-cylinder spark ignition engine for passenger vehicle
Richter, Tomáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is two-cylinder in-line four stroke petrol engine design based on input parameters. The work consists of different variations of designed crankshaft balancing and balancing unit. Calculation method of torsion vibration and crankshaft fatigue failure solution based on stress analysis are included.
The five-cylinder inline diesel engine with eccentric crank mechanism
Süttő, Daniel ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to find out the influence of eccentricity of crank mechanism on the duration of the force between the piston and the cylinder liner. At the same time I wanted to find out its influence on the balance of the whole system. It is important to design the balance for the selected value of the eccentricity and subsequently put through the crank shaft to stress analysis with torsional vibrations. I got so interested in this problem that in addition to the whole topic I designed a torsional vibration damper.
SW for balancing rotary machines
Dúcky, Martin ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis deals with balancing of rotary machines in one plane. It is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is deals with the basics of vibrostatics and operational balancing, with emphasis on the evaluation of machine vibration. The practical part deals with SW solution in Matlab environment. It explains the functionality of individual parts, their arrangement, connection and mutual continuity, and layout of the program. The programmed solution is tested on a series of measurements in which the balancing itself is evalated and compared with the classical method used in balancing rotary machines in one plane.
Balancing Shafts Support Optimalization for Zetor 4V UŘ III Engine
Zemčík, Tomáš ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
To make a check of an contemporary balancing verification of diesel engine Zetor UŘ III with type identification 1505, the engine power 90 kW and especially friction bearing design, which could replace existing needle bearing HK 4520 type, is the aim of this diploma thesis. Bearing type modification requires constructional adjustment of engine block and balancing shaft and therefore this proposal for construction another aim in my diploma thesis. The last part of my diploma thesis is an economic balance original imposition against newly designed. Calculations are made using mathematical software MathCad, the balancing shaft is made using ProEngineer software and control calculations of bearing stresses are made with ADAMS and FEM of ANSYS system. Motivation to write this work is to prove the possibility how to decrease manufacturing costs of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. company.
Powertrain of five -cylinder gasoline radial engine
Vítek, David ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with a design of a powertrain of fice-cylinder gasoline radial engine with assigned main parameters (bore, stroke, etc.). The work is divided into several parts: kinematics of the radial engine, creation of 3D models, force acting on the connecting rods, balancing of the engine. The last part is focused on creating MKP models, stress analysis and determining of fatigue safety of the selected parts.
Two-cylinder four stroke spark ignition flat engine
Dragoun, Jan ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities for realization of the crankshaft-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engine is flat, usable in the urban vehicle. In the work described stresses exerted on the crank mechanism can balance the crankshaft, torsional stress and strength calculation method of control. In the final part of this work is outlined proposal for implementation of the crankshaft.
Three-cylinder inline diesel engine with an eccentric crank for commercial vehicles
Domský, Viktor ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The goal is to investigate the influence of eccentricity on the force between the piston and the cylinder liner and the influence on balancing of the crank mechanism. For a selected eccentricity suggest a balancing method and perform stress analysis of crankshaft considering torsional vibration. Eccentricity is chosen by the ratio of centric and eccentric mechanism of friction work. The paper shows the effect of eccentricity on the selected kinematics values. Stress analysis is done in the software ANSYS. Using selected eccentricity the friction work was reduced by 10 %.
Four-cylinder gasoline engine with cylinder deactivation
Steigl, Vladimír ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is design of configuration and balancing of crankshaft which is determined for four-cylinder gasoline engine. The thesis investigates kinematics, dynamics and possible ways of balancing the inertial forces and moments of the rotating and sliding parts of the central crank mechanism. Subsequently, the 3D CAD model is designed according to the presented drawing. It is transformed into a spare torsion system, from which the calculations of its own and forced torsional vibrations are based. The proposed 3D CAD model is then spatially transmitted in the FEA software Ansys Workbench and modified (boundary conditions, etc.) in the FEA software Ansys Mechanical APDL so that it can be calculated according to the selected LSA method. From the selected results of the LSA method, the crankshaft safety factor against fatigue damage is calculated.
Development engineering for crankshafts
Škrášek, Roman ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with issue of developing crankshafts for combustion engines. It describes particular steps of design process and focuses on using of modern methods, which make this process markedly shorter and better quality. The thesis also focuses on fatigue life of crankshafts and on methods of influencing fatigue life.
Process optimalization and lean implementation in the manufacturing company ADC Czech Republic s.r.o
Mauer, Jindřich ; Obdržálek, Radim (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the optimilization of the production process of the firm ADC Czech Republic s.r.o. The first part the tesiis focused on the research study of the issue, which is used in the practical part. The second one is devoted to brief introduction of the company ADD Czech Republic and the introduction of the product, that is engineered on the production line. The next chapter is divided into three parts. The first chapter creates an analysis of actual condition. The second deals with the implementation of the proposial. Finally, the third part is focused on other possible proposals, which have not been properly worked out
