Static design of steel and timber members of structure of a guesthouse in Pasohlávky

The topic of this bechelor’s thesis is assesment of the load-bearing steel and wooden structures of a guest house in the town of Pasohlávky using the BIM method, which includes data sharing and collaboration with other professions. The thesis includes two separate structures: a winter garden designed from steel S235JR and a roof structure that combines steel S235JR and structural timber C24. The content of the work covers the assesment of the main load-bearing elements, dimensioning of selected joints, stability analysis of frame structures, column anchoring and drawing solutions in combination with an IFC format model.

Cílem této bakalářské práce je implementovat hry, které zhodnotí kognitivní schopnosti uživatele, který je hraje. Konkrétně se jedná o schopnosti rozhodovací, audio a vizuální. Tato bakalářská práce je pilotní studie rozshálejšího projektu. První část práce obsahuje teoretický výzkum. Popisuje zmíněné kognitivní schopnosti, jak fungují a jak je můžeme hodnotit. Druhá část popisuje samotnou aplikaci. Popisuje návrh her, a jejich implementaci. Aplikace obsahující hry byla implementována v Unity v jazyce C\#. Pro databázi byl použit Firebase. Tato část také vysvětluje jak hry provádí zhodnocení kognitivních schopností, a jak toto zhodnocení prezentují uživateli. Poslední část bakalářské práce popisuje testování aplikace. Aplikace byla testována na patnácti uživatelích. Jejich odpovědi jsou zdokumentovány a zhodnoceny v poslední části bakalářské práce.

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the design and assesment of the steel structure two storey big office and production hall. In the groundplan the hall has dimensions 44x12,5 metres and the hall has a height of 9,225m. The object is designed as a hall with frame structure. The frames are axially located one from each other in 6m. Roof has a saddle type shape with a downgrade of 5,71°. The sheating of the hall is made up of sandwinch insulation panels.

Process Management in the Selected Agricultural Company

This bachelor´s thesis deals with business management processes in an agricultural company. The thesis proposes changes how to improve the processes in the given agricultural company which is forced to evaluate the quality of its process management due to external and internal threats, competition and introduction of modern technologies. The thesis looks for possible solutions and models the processes using software tools, such as the graphical notation Business Process Model and Notation. To get an overall picture of the company the strategic planning and strategic management technique is used. Furthermore, the processes are prioritised and their performance and efficiency are then analysed. By process mapping the flow of work is described and thus the management is defined, introduction of automation is determined and waste and unproductive activities are eliminated. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to suggest to the managers possible changes for effective management of the company.

Work-life balance in selected company

This bachelor's thesis deals with the concept of so-called "Work-life balance" in selected company. It identifies individual tools which could be hepful in harmonization of work and personal lives of employees. The work is divided into two basic parts. The first part of this thesis explains the theoretical foundations of reconciling personal and professional life. It presents the possibilities of alternative working hours, their advantages, disadvantages and uses. It further discusses factors influencing the view of the concept of work-life balance or pro-family policy. This theoretical knowledge is further applied in the practical part of this work. The second part contains a brief description of the monitored company. This section also presents the methodology used to research and interpret its results. The aim of this work is to assess the concept of work-life balance in a selected organization and propose changes to improve the current state and the development of the research area.

The dissertation focuses on the assessment of the content of the inspection reports of the Czech School Inspectorate (CSI) in the context of the main stategical documents concerning the Czech educacional policy since the publication of the National Programme of the Development of Education in the Czech Republic (The White Book) in 2001. The thesis comprises of the historical introduction of the state supervision over schools in Bohemia and the extent of competency of the Czech School Inspectorate, which is currently conducting the schools external evaluation. The CSI provides the feedback to the schools through the inspection reports and the feedback to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports through the annual reports. The dissertation examines the compliance of the contents of the inspection reports and the strategical documents of the Ministry of Education.

The Evaluation of employees in public administration and their remuneration

The work deals with the issue of evaluation of employees in public administration. First, it describes the principles of remuneration and reward theory in general, and subsequently, the specifics applicable to public administration are formulated here. The description of the currently valid legislation governing the issue of the staff is being described in the essay, again, first in general, then the attention is focused on the specifics regulated by rewarding employees who work in public administration, it also mainly analyzes the current treatment of the Labour Code, as well as treatment of related specific and complementary legal standards. On a practical level, the work deals with the remuneration of the tax office in Ostrava III and the municipal office of Ostrava South, specifically devoted to the analysis and evaluation of the remuneration of workers in these institutions. On the basis of the analysis the possible recommendations and suggestions for changes and improvements to existing practice in those institutions were set out.

Valuation of assets in terms of Czech accounting regulations in relation to the presentation of the financial statements

The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate the valuation of assets in terms of Czech accounting regulations in relation to the descriptive power of the financial statements. The selected method of valuation of properties significantly affect items reported in the financial statements. Financial statements are the most important output of accounting, under which the company manners financial administration. The theoretical part is based generally on Czech accounting legislation, applicable laws and professional publications, which is used in the creation of the bachelor thesis studied. Which is familiar with the valuation of assets, both in the acquisition and the balance sheet date. Furthermore, are specified according to different types of assets that are the subject of analysis in the practical part. In the end I also mention the valuation of assets in foreign currency. In the practical part of the thesis is an analysis of assets of the MMC limited compa-ny. Specifically provisioning to receivables that the company enforces vain even after many warnings. Attention is given to the adjustment of the Reserves law Act (1992) which came into effect on 1 January 2014. Another asset that is topic to analysis, the item of equity securities with controlling influence. Here is the solution to increase shares from their acquisition to the current situation. At the balance sheet days are using the equivalences method, which increases share value several times more than normal. The last part will cover analysis about tangible fixed assets. The company 5 years ago purchased a packaging machine that uses for its main activities. The machine was valued at primary price. At the moment, the same machine on the market at a higher price than it was years ago. Thus the rose an underestimation of assets and, therefore, it is a silent reserve.
