Harag, Jozef ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Thesis deals with the creation of a portal for comparing scientific results between institutions in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This thesis aims to create a functional analytic tool prototype that allows users to generate data samples based on specific common characteristics and to perform advanced data analysis over these samples, resulting in different types of graphs. Graphs can be placed on the main panel. This panel can be customized as per their own preferences so each user can have it different. Analyzable metrics include the number of citations, social references, and readers that individual scientific publications have received.

The tool is based on a range of tools established and published abroad, the applicability of which in the Czech environment has been verified, namely the Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey and 2 Major Environmental Values. The research analyzed the relationship between the dimensions of environmental literacy and the identified significant determinants that can fundamentally predict the level of environmental literacy, in the...

The aim of this thesis is to bring near to the readers the area of webmining and familiarize them with tools, which deal with data mining on the web. The main emphasis is placed on the analytical software program called Piwik. This analytical tool is compared with others nowadays available analytical tools. This thesis also aims to create a compact documentation of the software Piwik. The largest part of this documentation is devoted to the newly programmed plugin. The principle of information retrieval, based on user behavior on the web, is described from the common viewpoint and leads to more factual form of description of information retrieval using this new plugin.
