Influence of Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation over Optical Network Unit
Sikora, Pavel ; Oujezský, Václav (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with DBA algorithms used in XG-PON networks. It describes reference appearance of the DBA algorithm, as well as, three specific DBA algorithms discussed in professional articles. Particularly speaking about GIANT, HYRA and modified Max-Min Fair DBA. The thesis provides description of frames utilized by DBA algorithms in XG-PON networks, specifically XGEM frame and XGTC frames. The thesis also presents a simulation tester of DBA algorithms tested on a virtual XG-PON network. Finally, it contains the results of testing these DBA algorithms with a description.
Building society savings account in comparison with another savings society products
Miller, Jan ; Ducháčková, Eva (advisor) ; Daňhel, Jaroslav (referee)
In the bachelors thesis Building society savings account in comparison with another savings society products we aim at analysis of building society savings products within three different building societies and coherently at analysis of fixed term deposit accounts. The bachelors thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, we are going to describe both above mentioned products. In the second, practical part, we are going to analyze both products altogether at six different financial institutions. At the end of the practical part we are going to weight the favorableness of the products from the consumer point of view.
Implementation of the reporting system in a particular company
Pavlová, Tereza ; Matyáš, Ondřej (advisor) ; Fibírová, Jana (referee)
The main concern of this master thesis is the introduction of a new reporting system at EDUA Group, s.r.o. The first goal of the thesis is to analyse the current condition of the reports. Part of this goal is to analyse the company's source systems, controlling, and the reports themselves. The second goal of the thesis was determined thanks to this findings. The second goal is the proposal of the new reports. With this goal are linked the proposals how to improve the current situation in company reporting.
Regional Distribution of Development Aid in Cambodia
Ficek, František ; Jelen, Libor (advisor) ; Těšinová, Michaela (referee)
Regional distribution of development aid in Cambodia Abstract This bachelor thesis, examines development aid distribution in Cambodia, specifically focused on the distribution and allocation of development projects that target reproductive health and education. Within the introduction, the history and current situation in Cambodia is presented, followed by a discussion of current approaches to development aid. The reproductive health and education issues will also be examined as well as the continuing discourse of development aid allocation. The research analyses the relationship between development interventions and reproductive health or education indicators on provincial level. The main outcome in Cambodia's development aid only highlights the distribution of aid with regard to the level of development in several cases; allocation of aid is mostly influenced by other factors rather than recipient need. Key words: Cambodia, development aid, allocation, distribution, reproductive health, education, official development assistance, non-governmental organizations
Impacts of projects funded by the Operational programme Education for Competitiveness in the activities of schools and school institutions.
Homolová, Klára ; Žufanová, Hana (advisor) ; Kitzberger, Jindřich (referee)
V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE ABSTRACT: The work provides comprehensive information on the development and structure of financial support from the European Union and how to use schools and school facilities. The next section deals with the pitfalls with which schools and educational institutions face in the implementation of projects financed from the EU Structural Funds. The conclusion includes recommendations for managing authorities and suggestions for new topics in the training of managers of schools and school facilities.
Analysis of the programming period 2007 - 2013 in V4 countries
HRONKOVÁ, Věra
The subject of this thesis is to analyse the disbursement of funds the European Union on the territory of Visegrad countries within the programming period 2007 2013. Primarily the work deals how much was been reached from expected financial allocation resources and the resulting drawdown of funds divided into areas in which the finance income in countries and whether there really to fulfilled the commitments made by the country in the operational programs at the beginning of the programming period 2007 2013.

Application for the Allocation of Project Managers
Slavoš, Jakub ; Pecenak, Jan (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and creation of an application used to track Project Manager allocation in the company IBM Global Services Delivery Center Czech Republic. The first chapter contains theoretical information needed to understand the content of the thesis, while the second chapter focuses on analyzing the current status of this area. The third chapter then explores the options on how to solve the identified problem, and the best alternative is then chosen and created.
Transformation from C to VHDL Language
Mecera, Martin ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
The thesis describes the process of transformation of the behavior of processor described in C language into VHDL language. Individual steps of automatized transformation are compared to manual design of processor. The thesis highlights advantages of the internal representation of program in the form of graph. Optimizations based on various factors are introduced in this thesis. One of them are algebraic modifications of expressions. The time of computation or space requirements of the circuit can be lowered by proper aplication of properties of math operators - associativity, comutativity and distributivity. Special attention is payed to optimizations, that make use of parallelism of operations for the process of planning. Algorithms of time-constrained scheduling and resource-constrained scheduling are discussed. The end of this thesis is devoted to resource allocation.
Effective Memory Management for Multi-Threaded Applications
Vašíček, Libor ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of effective memory management for multi-threaded applications. At first, the virtual memory possibilities are described, which can be found in the latest operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows and Linux. Afterwards the most frequently used algorithms for memory management are explained. Consequently, their features are used properly for a new memory manager. Final design includes particular tools for application debugging and profiling. At the end of the thesis a series of tests and evaluation of achieved results were done.
