Needs of Leisure Time Activities of Aging Population in the Vajgar Housing Estate in Jindřichův Hradec

The bachelor's thesis deals with the needs of leisure activities of the aging population in the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which deals with the issue of leisure time, its functions, aging, approaches to aging, leisure activities, forms of leisure activities and factors influencing the active use of leisure time. Furthermore, the current situation of leisure activities in the Vajgar housing estate is analyzed, as well as institutions and organizations that deal with leisure time. And the practical part, where a quantitative research survey was conducted. The aim of the work was to map what possibilities of leisure activities people over 55 have in the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec. Also what activities they would be interested in. In connection with the mentioned goal, a hypothesis was established: H1: In the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec, there are no opportunities for active leisure time for residents aged 55 and over. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey of 146 respondents, and the results show that residents who do not lack opportunities for leisure activities in the Vajgar housing estate would also be interested in new opportunities for leisure activities. Respondents preferred unorganized and passive ways of spending free time. Their opinion did not depend on age or gender. In the end, there is a reflection on a possible solution to the needs of the aging population regarding leisure needs in the locality. This work could be a source of information for community planning, but it would be appropriate to carry out further more detailed research, on the basis of which final decisions could be made.

Whiplash syndrome - evaluation of the therapy effect through various physiotherapeutic approaches

Title: Whiplash syndrome-evaluation of the therapy effect through various physiotherapeutic approaches Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out which treatment method is the best suited for the reduction of the convalescence period in an acute whiplash syndrome and how the treatment can the most effectively affect chronic whiplash syndrome. This thesis also summarizes the most recent knowledge regarding this issue. Methods: The diploma thesis is processed in the form of a literary review, it has an analytic descriptive character. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first part deals with the theoretical point of view and the second part deals with the thesis methodology together with results. The theoretical part is dedicated to the problematic itself and physiotherapeutic methods used in the treatment of whiplash syndrome in the form of passive and active approaches. The second part describes a criteria methodology for studies which are included in the thesis. Conclusions of the studies are discussed together with their effects. Results: A total of 23 studies have been selected for this thesis. The recommended threatment for the acute whiplash syndrome is a form of the active approach. Influence of Midline and PICC catheters use on frequency of complications associated with venous lines in hospitalised patients

Presented dissertation deals with the problematics of optimal choice of venous access for each hospitalized patient at standard internal wards. Introduction of vascular access must be safe for the patient and must allow the fulfillment of all the goals for which it was indicated. In recent years, in addition to peripheral cannulas and non-tunneled central catheters, introduction of midline catheters and PICC gets into everyday practice. The choice of optimal vascular access device since adminition can bring benefit to the patients in the form of decline of complications. Goal: The goal of master thesis was to prove that the use of new types of vascular access devices has influence on the decline of vascular access devices related complication occurence. Methods: To reach the goal we used a quantitative method of data collection during certain time period using created collection protocols. Research investigation took place from November 2017 to February 2018 at two standard wards of Department of Internal Medicine FN Motol. Results: A total of 350 venous access devices (271 peripheral cannulas, 54 midline catheters, 35 PICC) in 187 hospitalized patients was monitored. Options integration of health education curriculum and VV at the 2nd primary school

Magdalena Hajná This diploma thesis presents results of examining the possibility of integration of subjects of "Art education" and "Health Education" at the lower secondary level of education. The result is a project of linking the selected subjects into the education curriculum for the sixth year of elementary school. In a theoretical part, I focused on the brief history and the present of education fields of Health Education and Art Education. I outlined its basic characteristics; I summarized important starting points for their integration and I outlined the common goals and contents. I have used weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis made in a specific studied school in Prague to specify and refine focus and form of this thesis. Another source of data was a School Counseling Program called "Spolu to zvládnem" (in English: Together we succeed) which was previously run on the studied school. Goal of the program mentioned was to rebuild class team spirit after a part of children leaving class in favor of eight-year grammar schools.
