HVAC design for burn intensive care unit
Fábian, Martin ; Andrys, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis describes a design of a HVAC unit for a burn intensive care unit and its related nursery rooms. The unit respects all the hygienic, functional and running conditions at this specific indoor microclimate. The main concept of the HVAC unit is to supply the burn intensive care unit with fresh air, which is suitable for a fast recovery after a burn trauma and also to reduce the microbial growth and microbial spreading. The main goal of the Bachelor’s thesis was to design a HVAC unit that will effectively filter the inlet air and that the intensive care unit is built the way, to reduce the microbial spread as much as possible. The air handling units are designed at the calculation part of the Bachelor’s thesis to cover the energy (heat) loss in the winter time and the energy (heat) gains during the summer time. Main function of the air handling unit is to handle filtered fresh air to the hospital. The output of the Bachelor’s thesis is a realization documentation for both air handling units.
Indoor environment of pool halls
Halla, Ondřej ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problems of the indoor environment of swimming pool halls. Firstly, it describes issues and principles of designing HVAC system in the areas with high humidity production. Thesis then focuses on various approaches to calculations of evaporation from the water surface and different possibilities of dehumidification including different types of HVAC units. This knowledge was applied to the design of HVAC system for particular assigned building, for which are proposed two different solutions. Thesis includes experimental part, its aim is to analyse one specific critical part of the hall. Based on local surveying and long-term measurements a few possibilities of improvement are suggested.
Design of an air handling unit
Měrka, Jan ; Košner, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a modular air handling unit based on determined requirements. Modular air handling units provide great flexibility for consultants when work-ing on a project. Modular air handling units are assembled using many sections (heater section, cooler section, humidification section, fan section, etc) which gives the consultant an advantage to use only those sections necessary for particular project.
Indoor pool ventilation
Hrabová, Kristýna ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor thesis designed ventilation for the pool hall. Hall is divided on four separate working units. The first device is designed as an air-conditioning unit for the changing room. For swimming pool were designed swimming pool air conditioning units with heat pump. Air in the hall with a water slide is adjusted using the forced ventilation unit.
Ventilation of a multifunctional house
Husák, Martin ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of ventilation equipment and air conditioning for a multifunctional building, which has 4 doctor's offices, a hairdresser, a driving school and 3 residential flats. The house is designed to meet all the necessary requirements regarding ventilation. Air handling units are designed to discharge degraded air to the exterior and bring fresh air back. Thermal comfort for the winter is ensured by radiators and in the summer by air conditioning. The theoretical part is focused on climatic conditions for the design of air conditioners, refrigeration systems and refrigerants.
Air conditioning in shop and restaurant
Vostal, Matěj ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of air conditioning systems for a recreational facility in Brno. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical, which focuses on the design of ventilation of commercial kitchens, describes the hygienic conditions and requirements for correct design of ventilation, as well as the concept and the calculation method for sizing kitchens. The second part is the calculation part, which focuses on the design of three air conditioning units for the three functional units of the building. Specifically the design of ventilation for the restaurant, the kitchen and the casino area. The third and final part is the design documentation of the designed air conditioning system.
Testing lab visualization for air conditioning units
Hamplová, Veronika ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of visualization for testing lab for air conditioning unit. This unit was made by Strojírenský zkušební ústav. The visualization was programmed in the visualization and simulation program called ControlWeb. This application allows controlling, monitoring, storing and retrieving all necessary variables. Next part of diploma thesis discusses techniques of measurement, automation devices and visualization software.
Air conditioning of the cinema
Czempka, David ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to design air-conditioning systems in the selected cinema equipped with a spacious foyer with bar, cinema hall with technical facilities, recording studio and secondary spaces. Systems are designed to meet hygienic, operational and safety requirements and to create an optimal indoor microclimate for people. The air-conditioning systems provide distribution of fresh air and extract of exhaust air, covering the heat loss in winter and heat gains in summer, and in selected spaces also humidification in the winter season. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I focused on the basic acoustic quantities and spatial acoustics.
Airconditioning in the swimming pool
Ulma, Alexandr ; Tesař, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on design of air-conditioning for hotel natatorium. It consists of two functional parts, wellness centre and indoor swimming pool. The theoretical part deals with literature review on utilization of heat recovery in conjuction with controlled dehumidification of natatorium. The practical part includes detailed project documentation for the indoor swimming pool part and conceptual design for the wellness centre.
Ventilation and air conditioning of the sports hall
Lechnýř, Zdeněk ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the following ventilation equipment of the sports hall. The theoretical part deals with the topic of air distribution in hall buildings. In the practical part of the work, two air handling units are designed. The first air handling unit controls the hot air heating and air conditioning of the gym. The second unit controls the forced ventilation of the facilities for athletes. The project documentation of ventilation and air conditioning for the specified object is elaborated in the final part.
