Manifestations of bullying and aggression in kindergarten
STIBŮRKOVÁ, Markéta
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of bullying in preschools and parents' awareness in this area. The objective is to investigate parents' level of knowledge about bullying, their opinions, and their experiences. The theoretical framework encompasses key aspects related to bullying and aggressive behavior in preschool settings, including the psychological characteristics of preschool children, their emotional and moral development, prosocial skills, and factors influencing aggressive behavior. Additionally, it addresses the definitions and distinctions between aggression and bullying, manifestations of aggression and bullying in preschool environments, and strategies for identification, response, and prevention of bullying. The research component presents the findings of a mixed-methods study conducted through questionnaires and interviews with parents who have firsthand experience with their child being bullied in preschool.
Vliv obohaceného prostředí na chování prasat v intenzivním a extenzivním způsobu chovu
ULMONOVÁ, Karolína
The diploma thesis followed the Bachelor's thesis Ulmonová (2018). The work was focused on the elimination of aggressive behavior in extensive and intensive pig breeding. In both establishments, the toy was placed in pre-fattening and pig fattening. It was assumed that reducing aggressive behavior would reduce pig injuries (bitten tails, ears, navel). To eliminate aggressive behavior, a toy (wooden logs, chains) was used, which was always lowered into the pens at a certain time and pulled out again at a certain time. 2 groups were created in both companies (control / experimental). In intensive breeding after 15 pieces, later after 13 pieces. In extensive breeding of 10 pieces. During the pre-fattening 1 ethogram was created and during the fattening another 3 ethograms were created. The basic categories of behavior (feed intake, rest, movement, standing) and frequency categories of behavior (play / aggressive behavior) were evaluated in the ethograms. Groups in extensive breeding spent more time on feeding, compared to groups in intensive breeding. The animals from the control groups spent more time resting. The experimental groups spent more time moving. The movement was associated with the presence of a toy in the pen. Standing on both farms fluctuated considerably, with all observations. The frequency of aggressive behavior was highest in the control group in intensive breeding and increased over time. In the experimental group in intensive breeding, there was a reduction in aggressive behavior, but not complete elimination. The frequency of aggressive behavior in extensive breeding was negligible. The highest frequency of the game was in the experimental group in intensive breeding, the pigs played with the toy the most. The experimental group had the highest frequency of playing with equipment (they had straw available). Cannibalism appeared only in the control group in intensive breeding, in the middle of fattening. In this group, the necessary slaughter took place at the end of the fattening, due to the biting of the tail of one pig.

Baumgartner, František ; Vancu, Eva ; Mžyková, K.
Emotion regulation plays the important role in dealing with stressful situations, therefore it can be supposed its positive effect in relation to aggression and bullying. The article is devoted to question, if emotion regulation diminishes the frequency of aggressive behavior in school classes. It was used the questionnaire of aggressive behavior and the questionnaire of cognitive regulation of emotions in research sample of 108 pupils of elementary school. The obtained results reveal that adolescents, which behave aggressively, use more frequently blaming others and less acceptation as the strategies of emotion regulation. The defenders who try to forestall of aggression more frequently use positive reappraisal and putting into perspective.
Demands and risks of nursing work providing nursing care to agressive patients.
VORLOVÁ, Gabriela
This bachelor work is trying to analyse how demanding and risky nursing is when aggressive clients are treated. The theoretical part describes the origin of aggressive behaviour, types of aggression and situations which generate aggressive behaviour. All nursing parts of the problem are described here such as a preparation for the arrival of a disturbed client, his reception to the hospital and the main tasks of nurses in the psychiatric ward. Some other methods how to calm down and restrict the patient are also analysed. A quantitative approach, questioning and semistructured interviews were used to collect all data in this work. The interview consisted of 28 questions and each respondent could answer in his words. The data were collected in mental hospitals in Havlíčkův Brod and Prague-Bohnice and in a psychiatric ward of the hospital in České Budějovice. Nurses who work with aggressive patients answered to the questions. Some results are demonstrated in graphs and tables and some answers are thoroughly analysed. Five objectives were stated at the beginning of the research and all of them were fulfilled. Eight research issues were set and they were gradually responded and the hypotheses were specified. The work reached the conclusion that nursing staff provides a very demanding and risky job when they treat aggressive patients. The nurses know what to do if the patients attack them to avoid injuries of nursing staff , the aggressive patient himself and other patients. They can use a restrictive methods in such situations. On the other hand, they would praise a training course in self-defence and communication with aggressive clients as well as more men staff in the wards.
Dilemma of chicane at the basic school
HOLOUBKOVÁ, Eva
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of aggressiveness and chicane among children at the second level of basic schools and its prevention in the Pilsen region. Further on it is also concerned with the teachers´ perspective and their awareness of the topic of chicane. In the theoretical part I am going to analyse the fundamental terms of the topic. The attention is going to be localized on the personality of the aggressor and the victims of chicane, on the cooperation of the school and parents, on the authority of the teacher or class and school climate. There is going to be a special chapter devoted to the description of the system concerning the prevention of the chicane. In the practical part I am going to endeavour to find out by the help of a questionnaire survey, how the schoolchildren are informed about the chicane and what kinds of form are used to this purpose. I compare these results with the theoretical knowledge.
