Jantač, Martin ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with a project of a lever-jack used for a race car. Its aim is to design a suitable model responding to all needs of such mechanism. The work itself is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is mainly theoretical, focusing on introduction of different types of lever-jacks. Further on, two engineering designs were created (mechanical and hydraulic). Kinematic calculation and strength calculation of some selected parts were done for each of these designs.

Štigler, Jaroslav ; Karásek, David (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the Design of an active patient lift. This project brings new ideas into the patient lift design problematice while using plastic molds. Overall plastic cover is the solution for agresive looks of current products. From the technical point of view this project combines current technologies into the new, so far nonexisting, solution. Thesis brings new views on lifts controls and movement while considering ergonomic and technological parameters.
