Dashboard for Smart Home Status Focused on Low Consumption Installations
Fišer, Tomáš ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; John, Petr (advisor)
In the rapidly evolving concept of IoT, or a network consisting of physical devices with electronic and software capabilities to interconnect and collaborate to perform autonomous actions without human intervention, dashboards are an important element for users, providing data visualizations and controls over data. This work deals with the creation of a dashboard that has as main goals low energy consumption compared to traditional solutions, simple control interface and clear data visualization. It tries to meet the parameter of low power consumption by using energy efficient computing hardware, ESP32 microcontroller and by using E-ink display panel which again has low power consumption. The resulting dashboard should be able to run on batteries for long periods of time without the need to replace or recharge the batteries.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an application for locating people in indoor spaces. The thesis provides an overview of the available technologies, methods, user device hardware options and programming languages for the purpose of creating a mobile phone application. Subsequently, the design and implementation of an application for person localization and test measurements is discussed. The thesis concludes with a summary of the functionality of the implemented application and suggestions for future improvements.
RF WiFi network analyzer
Kvasničák, Dušan ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the design and implementation of a WiFi network monitor analyzer in the 2.4 and 5 GHz radio frequency bands using a software radio. The work focuses on obtaining and analyzing data from these bands with the aim of extracting information about the state and movement of devices, their position in relation to the analyzer, and estimating the number of people moving in the monitored space.
Automated system for domestic chicken farming
Kejík, Pavel ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and construct devices for automating chicken farming. The devices should be competitive in terms of both price and features compared to those available on the market. The described devices provide wireless connectivity, so they are considered IoT devices. An overview of available IoT protocols is provided in the thesis. Additionally, devices available on the market and their features, which are set as the minimum requirements for the design of the implemented devices, are mentioned. The practical implementation of these devices is divided into descriptions of the mechanical and electronic construction, as well as the software. Specific approaches to control are explained in detail. The devices were developed into fully functional prototypes. Prototype tests were conducted for several weeks in simulated conditions without the presence of chickens to avoid contamination.
Photovoltaic laptop charger with wireless connectivity
Komár, Josef ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kufa, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and construction of a photovoltaic charger designed primarily for a laptop. The solar charge controller works using the MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) principle and is controlled by a ESP32 microcontroller. The control algorithm constantly searches for the maximum power point, thus achieving the maximum possible power and efficiency of the PV panel. The produced energy is then stored in the battery system, which has a BMS including protections and cell balancers. The charger includes an adjustable 18 – 22 V output for powering a laptop computer and 5 V output for powering devices via USB. All important parameters (voltages, currents and powers) are sent wirelessly by the charger via Wi-Fi interface.
Remote control of Solar inverter
Pohorský, Ondřej ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a remote monitoring device for the solar inverter SOFAR HYD-10-KTL-3PH. The assignment of this thesis was based on the knowledge and requirements of the author. The aim of this thesis is to create a device communicating with the inverter. The device will display the essential parameters on the website. From the website it should also be possible to control the outputs of the device, which can be used to switch appliances.
Tools for Wi-Fi and IPv4 penetration testing
Jančík, David ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design and implementation of support tools and methodologies for security penetration testing of Wi-Fi networks and IPv4 network infrastructure. The theoretical part covers penetration testing itself, approaches, phases, and types. It also describes the development of Wi-Fi networks and their security protocols. Various penetration tools for Wi-Fi networks and types of attacks are introduced. In the last theoretical part, a basic overview of IPv4 and tools for IPv4 scanning is provided. Initially, in the practical part, a proprietary methodology for Wi-Fi networks and IPv4 and tools for penetration testing are proposed. The Python programming language is defined, along with the output of various tools for the Penterep platform. A review of tools from the theoretical part is conducted to select suitable tools for new support tools. The implementation of penetration tools is based on the design diagram created. The conclusion summarizes the results achieved and suggestions for further expansion of tools for Wi-Fi and IPv4. The result of this thesis is the implementation of support tools and the design diagram for Wi-Fi networks and IPv4.
Coexistence of LoRa and Wi-Fi in the RF band 2.4 GHz
Model of a shared transmission channel for future wireless communication systems
Sedláček, David ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The main objective of the thesis was to study modern and upcoming wireless systems and their coexistence in a shared transmission channel. Based on the knowledge gained, the design of a simplified transmission channel was implemented. The model was created in Matlab using several available extensions. The correctness of the model was verified at the end by laboratory measurements.
