The thesis deals with design and assessment of all supporting parts of cast-in-place reinforced concrete tank. The thesis includes a technical report, static analysis, drawing documentations, construction proces and visualization. The drawing documentation consists of shape and reinforcement drawings of supporting parts.
Rock heat accumulator
Nguyen Khac, Hoang ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the thesis to explain the functionality of seasonal accumulation with an in-depth view on rock bed accumulator. The computational model is based on the project located in Attenkirchen, Germany. After the technical analysis of the model is carried out an economical review can be realized. To conclude the thesis an evaluation is made comparing an accumulation system with a more traditional one.
Solar heating tap water
Flöhsler, Tomáš ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this BA Thesis is to design a fully operational system for heating hot tap water and devise economical part of the project. The design includes correct specification of solar collector size with reference to the most effective collector turning angle. In addition to that, the Thesis focuses on evaluating the economic return, service life and future usage. It is also necessary to include operation of the device and running costs of components needed for the smooth operation of this system. The solar system design is intended for a single family house in Rousínov, Vyškov District, South Moravian Region. The Thesis was written with the contribution of the companies which are specialists in this field.
Technical autid of water supply infrastructure
Straková, Eliška ; Ručka, Jan (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of evaluating the technical condition of selected elements of water supply infrastructure. In the theoretical part of the thesis are listed the legislative requirements for evaluating the technical condition of water infrastructure, factors affecting the technical condition and methods used for evaluation in the Czech Republic and in the other countries. The methodology of technical audit and software application TEA Water were used for the elaboration of the practical part of thesis. Specific modules are described in thesis in more details and then applied to a selected drinking water supply system.
Wind power plants principle
Polcsák, Jakub ; Fialová, Simona (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate the most extensive search, which deals with the description and function of existing wind turbines / pumps and their use in connection with water tanks. Wind turbines are divided by size. I have dealt with their principle of functioning, economy and properties. Next, I devoted myself to the future of wind farms. I have described their principles of functioning and properties. The last topic was dedicated to water tanks. In the first part I described their placement against the consumer, construction and use. The second part deals with their connection with wind turbines / pumps and their efficient use.
The Technology of Artificial Floating Islands to Improve Reservoir Water Quality
Mrkývka, Michal ; Sládek, Roman (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
This master thesis deals technology of floating islands and their application in practice. In the first theoretical part describes detail of physical and chemical properties of water, the cycle of substances in water and the distribution of standing water, which are considered the most suitable interest sites for the application and instalation of floating systems. The sekond part describes the measurement metodology, which was carried out in several stages on the research land of the Institute of Landscape Water Management. The measuremenr was focused on monitoring the quality characteristics of water in free artificial tanks (lysimeters). The first tank was with floating island, the sekond with floating rack without plants and the third tank with free surface (to ensure the simulation of the natural state). The measurement was under way in the calendar year 2017 and was divided into free stages (spring, summer, winter). During this period were monitored COD, total phosphorus, nitric and amoniacal nitrogen and dissolved oxygen, turbidity, pH, oxidation-reduction potential, water and air temperature and aggregate rainfall. Part of the master thesis is graphical and tabular evaluation of the results. The results are processed in the Minitab 16 statistical software, graphical representation is supplemented by the interlaced linear and cubic regression curves for easier search for the dependence of selected factors. The stages are compared at the end of the master thesis. At hhe end of summer 2017, the first application of the floating island according to utility model No. 31 169 was carried out within the Czech Republic on selected water reservoir in the Bílý Potok basin (Polička).
Rehabilitation technology of embankment dams by using suitable types of waste
Michalčíková, Magdaléna ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The subject of this work is to find an optimal technology for repairing existing embankment dams with emphasis on simplicity and ecological scalability. Next, secondary energy and waste materials will be evaluated as a partial replacement of a quality montmorillonitic clay. The aim of this will be to maximize the use of these waste materials. In the end a selection of materials for the locality will be made. The use of appropriate types of waste for repairs of embankment dams with clay based grouting compound technology has a great potential, especially with those dams that are not fulfilling their function due to their age.
Technical Audit of Water Tanks
Šlesinger, Jan ; Svoboda,, Miroslav (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to design a methodology for technical audit of water tanks. The first part presents basic information on water tanks, followed by a brief summary of Czech legislation related to developing water tank renewal financing plans. The key part of the thesis is designing the structure of TEAA water tanks module, which will be included in TEA Water methodology, being developed at Institute of Municipal Water Management. The module under proposal is implemented as a MS Excel application, which is used to assess selected water tanks. The assessment results are compared to results obtained using TEA Water web application, which implements a draft of the TEAA module from October 2014, and to the results obtained using TAWAT.xls application.
Technical audit of water tanks
Šlesinger, Jan ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is aimed at modificating and improving the computer application TAWAT, used for technical audit of water tanks, followed by evaluating chosen water tanks using this application. The first part of the thesis provides a brief introduction into the issue of water tanks design and a description of the current state of the matters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Further, a draft of a computer application for evaluating water tanks according to the methodology prescribed by regulation of the ministry of the environment of the Slovak Republic n. 262/2010 is developed. In the practical part dealing with evaluation of water tanks, results from the particular applications are compared for chosen objects. In the final part, a sketch of basic structure of TAWAT web application is worked out.
Response analysis of high-rise storage tank to static and dynamic loads
Strnadlová, Kateřina ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of water reservoir assessment for static and dynamic loads. The intoduction describes the basic design type sof reservoirs, thein static solution and design conditions. It made a preliminary calculation for determining the thickness of the shell structure and designed structure is then solid using the finite element metod (FEM) in ANSYS. In conclusion, verification of load-carrying capacity, stability and usability according to standard ČSN EN.
