Warehouse Management Design for the Smooth Flow of Orders

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the order flow in the warehouse management in a selected company. In my thesis, I focused on the logistics concept of warehouse management and the subsequent analysis of the current state of order flow in the selected company. Subsequently, according to the analysis, I have presented suggestions to improve the current state of the order flow that lead to minimizing the occurrence of errors and speeding up the order flow process.
Design of Material Flow Management in the Warehouse Management of an Online Store

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of material flows in the warehouse management of a selected online store. In my thesis I focus mainly on the logistic concept of the warehouse and the subsequent analysis of the current state of the material flows related to it. Based on the results of the analysis, improvements are suggested that will lead to savings in order preparation time and customer satisfaction.
Study of the Creation of the Concept of Warehouse Management Using Additive Technologies

The aim of this thesis is to optimize warehouse items and materials in the warehouse of spare parts of Slovak railways company with the use of additive technology. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, analytical, propositional part. The first part focuses on the theoretical background of additive manufacturing and its materials as well as warehouse management and stocks within the company. The analytical part aims on analysis of the company with chosen methods. Its main target is to identify spare parts, which are suitable for the production by eligible 3D printer and appropriate material. During the analysis of every part the properties, additive technology, price, and distributors were defined. In the last, propositional part, are presented two ways, how company can get an output out of additive technology to gain financial benefit and optimize its warehouses.

Inventory Optimization of a Manufacturing Firm

The subjekt of this diploma thesis is optimalization of inventories in workshop. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents the theory of corporate logistic, storage, warehouse and inventories. Furthermore, the methods aplicable for optimalization inventories are mentioned. The practical part is focused on the improvement of storage in workshop. It begins with finding out the cause of high inventories using the Ishikawa diagram and then raw material is separand into groups according Pareto method. After that the sales of each product range is forecasted and on this basis the EOQ (economic order quantity) of raw material are calculated. Finally, the practical part is aimed on processing layout. At the end of diploma thesis there is conclusion and recommendations for future.
Analysis of register programs for warehouse management

This diploma thesis deals with register programs that help small and medium-sized enterprises with their warehouse management. In thesis are analyzed programs that are available on the internet for free downloading as demo version. The main part of this thesis is devoted to the analysis of available register programs for warehouse management from several aspects. One of the aspect is user's. This aspect is about user interface and therefor if it is the controllability simple or not. The second aspect is about information technology and deals with installation, the availability of updates, databases in which are data saved, etc. The third aspect is financial affordability. During testing was used real data from small business. The final part describes rating of programs that have been analyzed and their verbal evaluation. The benefit of this thesis is to provide a view of available register programs for warehouse management, which are available for small and medium-sized businesses in the Czech Republic.
Organization, Management and Distribution in Samson brewery

The diploma thesis presents the analysis of brewery Samson; especially the work contains issues of logistics and warehouse management. The thesis is divided into some parts. Mostly there are the subjects in sphere of purchasing, production, sales, distribution, logistics, and warehouse economy. The main attention of diploma thesis was directed at possibility of store positions enlarging. Above all it is the question of roofed areas which are in absence. As following they are proposed the prospective answers of single defects in warehouse management and possible implementation of lean production. The end of the thesis is dedicated to complete conclusion of possible answers and their effect on warehouse management and the whole company.
