Variable Valvetrain Systems
Věříš, Michal ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the variable valve actuation systems and their influence mainly on spark-ignition engines. Describes the principle of their function, comparison of each other, brief history and a view to future developments. Part of the work is also a simulation of VTEC-E.
Uncoventional Valve Control
Janoušek, Michal ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes some non-traditional systems of valve control in four-stroke in four-stroke engine. The first part is about basic valve train arrangement and their use. Further work continues the basic description of selected non-traditional systems of control valves, these are the systems used both in ordinary mass-production, and the racing sport. The thesis included a brief historical development of individual systems and their application in practice use.
