Redken brand strategy - transition from B2B orientation towards B2C strategy

The main topic of this thesis is the modification of the Redken brand strategy from B2B to B2C orientation. Within the theoretical part, the current beauty market is primarily examined. The most important factors influencing the cosmetics industry are identified, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the online space of social networks and e-commerce, or current social trends influencing shopping behavior such as the Clean beauty trend or the Self-care trend. Theoretically, the B2B and B2C market and their differences are further defined. The process of creating a strategy and its individual steps are also presented. Last part of the theoretical section is the definition of the Redken brand, its history, values and branding. The practical part includes qualitative research in the form of in-depth individual interviews with respondents from the managerial and hairdressing spheres. The analysis further consists of external environment analysis named PESTLE, customer segment analysis, competition analysis, and SWOT analysis. Based on the obtained primary and secondary data, a strategy is prepared in the form of a tactical annual plan. Application of Balanced Scorecard

The objective of the Master´s Thesis is to apply the Balanced Scorecard system in a foundry company. The theoretical part defines the strategic management, it introduces individual parts of the Balanced Scorecard system and methods for its implementation in the company. The practical part use the methods listed above and applies them to the specific company An external analysis is applied to identify the relationship between the enterprise and its surroundings As a part of the internal analysis, financial indicators are calculated and compared with other enterprises in the sector. Based on the results of analyzes, the strengths as well as the weaknesses are identified and the strategy and strategic goals are set in four perspectives. To achieve these goals, the strategic map is created as the way of expressing and communicating strategy throughout the whole company. Moreover, the final section emphasizes the need for Balanced Scorecard integration into the company's management and management system.

Cílem diplomové práce je vytvořit návrh marketingového mixu pro nejvhodnější strategii vedoucí ke zvýšení počtu zákazníků společnosti MND neboli Moravské naftové doly. Společnost MND prodává a dodává zákazníkům plyn a elektrickou energii. Práce bude obsahovat dvě části. V první části bude obsažena literární rešerše, která bude popsána pomocí prostudování odborné literatury z oblasti marketingu. Praktická část bude zaměřena na společnost Moravské naftové doly, kde bude charakterizována a posuzována pomocí vědních metod například analýza sekundárních dat, dedukční metoda a také pomocí metody empirického poznání. Praktická část bude také obsahovat Porterův model pěti sil, STEP analýzu a SWOT analýzu, která hodnotí příležitosti a ohrožení. SWOT analýza bude vycházet z analýzy konkurenceschopnosti pro zjištění silných a slabých stránek společnosti.
Strategy Generation of Mary Kay (Czech republic) s.r.o.

My thesis is about strategy generation and its importance for the company. In the theoretical part, I tried to emphasize the main purpose of the analysis and indicate their strengths and weaknesses. In the practical part, I worked out and evaluated the process of generation Mary Kay strategy. I was not trying to generate a new concept of the strategy, but I tried to figure out why this strategy, which has been unchanged for many years, is so successful.
