HCCI engines
Otáhalík, Pavel ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of HCCI engines. Due to later required knowledge of fundamental principles, the beginning of the thesis is devoted to the history of combustion engines, the principle of their function and their division by basic criteria. The following section consists of the description of petrol and diesel engines in terms of the principle of the mixture formation and its combustion with emphasis on their advantages and disadvantages. In the central part of the thesis, which focuses on the HCCI engines, various mixtures creation methods and ignition are described. Next, the HCCI engines are described in terms of emissions including current concepts solutions. Finally, the conclusion of the thesis consists of speculation of the future of combustion engines and their prospective alternatives.
Power Increasing of Serial Combustion Engines
Novák, Pavel ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis is presented suvey of technical resolution for power increasing of serial combustion engines. The work is oriented especially on technical resolution for spark ignition engine and diesel engine. First two chapters says obout way of combustion process and obout creation the fuel mixture of spark ignition engine and diesel engine. In other chapters is described change length of suck pipeline, mechanical and turbo boosting engine and variable valve timing which is depended on the engine load. At the close there is short muse obout future in tecnical development.
Systémy přímého vstřikování zážehových motorů a jejich vliv na tvorbu polutantů
Macek, Mojmír
Bachelor thesis The direct injection systems for petrol engines and their influence on pollutants production provides a brief overview of the development of systems for the formation of mixture, including the related issues of the mixture development for the spark ignition engines. It also includes the method of electronic engine control, the function and components of direct injection, and it introduces direct injection systems of individual manufacturers. It focuses on emissions from internal combustion engines and describes pollutant reduction systems along with the trends of combustion engines development in the form of HCCI combustion.
