Principles of maintenance of the TPM method
Kartali, Csaba ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Řezníčková, Hana (advisor)
In the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with description of maintenance, historical development of maintenance and characterizes each systems of maintenance. Furthermore it provides a short comparison of two modern maintenance methods of RCM and TPM, with more detailed picture of the TPM method and also mentions the basic supporting methods used to determine the critical areas in production processes and in maintenance. The practical part of the thesis propounds a suitable proposal for TPM implementation in a manufacturing company.
Modern approaches in the maintenance field
Pšenková, Tereza ; Řezníčková, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with position of the maintenance in the company structure and with modern management approaches. One of the highest levels of maintenance is the proactive maintenance, which is using the technical diagnostics to find out the causes of failures. The most inportant in case of machines are vibrodiagnostics and thermodiagnostics, which are going to be applied on the motors in company Bosch Diesel s.r.o.
Proactive machine maintenance system
Semotam, Petr ; Řezníčková, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns issues of proactive maintenance, which is focused on machine tools. The most common failures and the most widespread methods of diagnostics of machine tools are described in the thesis. There are also described the procedure of Failure mode, effects and criticality analysis FMEA/FMECA, its possible development in the future with demonstrative presentation of application this analysis on CNC automatic lathe. Subsequently, in the practical part there has been chosen, described and appraised diagnostic of vibrations. Prior to the end the process in field of solving of establishment systems of maintenance has been recommended for SMC Industrial Automation CZ LLC Vyškov.
The Study of Effectiveness of the Use of Machines in the Selected Operation
Strnad, Miroslav ; Sládek, Radim (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
Master thesis is focused on the study of effectiveness of selected machines in the company through indicators of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. The aim is to increase productivity of machinery by monitoring machine run. Analyses are performed on selected machines which are found out downtimes reducing machine run. Methods and tools of lean manufacturing are used for determine downtimes as a core part. Specifically, the implementation of the first phase of TPM – “Total Productive Maintenance” which is used in manufacturing, for determine current status of machines. Maintenance of machinery is also referred in the master thesis as important part of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Individual factors of OEE are identified as a result of these analyses which are directly affected to productivity of machines. The output of these analyses is to design countermeasures against each downtime and system design of monitoring tools including technical and economical evaluation. Machine monitoring with automatic data collection based on calculated data is suitable option for the company.
The Efficiency of Machines Evaluation for Production Task Ensuring
Bednář, Martin ; Prokeš, Viktor (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on an analysis and data evaluation of effectiveness of tool machines and their maintenance. There is a description of a technical production handling in the first part of the theoretical section. In the second part one of the most productive options to increase the productivity of the machine maintenance is described, and so it is the TPM (total productive maintenance). The practical part consists of an analysis of given dates and their evaluation for company needs. Recommendations and suggestions for the improvement are presented at the end of the thesis.
Principles of maintenance of the TPM method
Plančar, Jakub ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Řezníčková, Hana (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint with the maintenance system, allocation, and types of maintenance in the mechanical engineering companies. Especially do introduction to the principles of maintenance of the TPM method.
Optimisation of the selected manufacturing process in the company Car manufacturing.
Šmídová, Pavla ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Rosa, Alexandr (referee)
This thesis deals with the optimisation of the selected manufacturing process. The aim is to analyse the effectiveness of the selected welding and assembly lines. Another objective is to do a detailed analysis for the line with the lowest efficiency in terms of cycle time and the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and calculate the lost production time due to availability, performance and defects. The third objective is to identify possible measures leading to higher utilization of manufacturing line and to propose a possible implementation. The theoretical part is based on the literature examining the term standardization, the norms of labour intensity, the cycle time, the Total Productive Maintenance and the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness. In the practical part the profile of Car manufacturing is being presented, the analysis of secondary data to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness is being done and the appropriate manufacturing line for the innovative plan is being selected. Furthermore, the analysis of secondary data regarding the effectiveness of the using time of the manufacturing line is being done, the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and the collection of primary data is being carried out. Subsequently, the problematic spots of the manufacturing line are being found and the possible measures leading to higher efficiency of manufacturing line are being proposed.
Analysis of productivity
Vidmanová, Šárka ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Kulovaný, František (referee)
This thesis deals with the productivity of enterprise, the possibilities of its measurement and increasing productivity through the total productive maintenance. The theoretical part firstly focuses on the measuring total productivity in homogeneous and heterogeneous production and calculation of partial productivities of each production factor. Secondly, it deals with the concept of a total productive maintenance as one of the possible approaches to increasing productivity. In the practical part the analysis of productivity for the years 2004 to 2010 is made and evaluated the use of approaches and tools of total productive maintenance in specific enterprise.
Application of the lean manufacturing methods with the special focus on Total productive maintenance method at the company BAEST, a.s.
Novotný, Jakub ; Kislingerová, Eva (advisor) ; Kulovaný, František (referee)
This thesis is focused on the suggestions for the application of maintenance department optimization concept -- Total productive maintenance, in the context of wider concept of lean manufacturing, in the BAEST company. The content of the thesis is to get acquainted with the theoretical background of the lean manufacturing and maintenance, analysis of the current state at the company's maintenance department reflecting the described theoretical background, identification of the potential for improvements by comparing the current state with the theoretically ideal state and coming up with individual recommendations for improvements of the maintenance department in order to make it better and more effective and efficient.
