Device for Measurement of MacPherson Strut Friction
Čapek, Štěpán ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the development of a device for measuring friction in a MacPherson strut. The thesis describes the mechanical friction that arises in the contacts of individual parts of the strut. It also includes a description of the MacPherson suspension and its comparison with other types of wheel suspensions, quantification of the forces acting on the strut during standard vehicle operation, and, last but not least, the design of a device for measuring increased friction in the strut when it is subjected to lateral force. The conclusion of the thesis describes the results of FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations of stress and deformation of the device, which verify the final design.
Design of Device for Damper Characteristic Measurement
Šplíchal, Bohuslav ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with the design of facilities for measuring characteristics of the cars shock absorbers. It describes damped vibration, construction design of shock absorbers and their diagnostics methods followed by description of shock absorbers characteristics and the design of linear motor driven device.
Reconstruction of suspension tester TriTec
Dvořáček, Milan ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Sabo, Karol (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is Reconstruction of suspension tester TriTec. The aim is to remove imperfections of previous version of the tester, which disabled accurate and comfortable work with the tester.TriTec is resonance adhesion suspension tester used for non-dismantling testing of vehicles. Output of this test is pressure force to static force ratio expressed as percentage recalcutated in order to correspond with EUSAMA output.
Electronic car suspension tester
Jeniš, Filip ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of a conceptually new tester for evaluation of car chassis damping. The tester will work on the basis of tracking of the body attenuation at the points of the silencers after crossing the obstacles. The kinematic motion parameters will be scanned using an inertial measurement unit.
