Procházka, Martin ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kunzmann, Egon (referee)
Author: Martin Procházka Title: Objectification and differences of strength and speed in young elite soccer players Objective: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to objectify and compare selected strength and speed abilities in young elite football players of the U16 category at AC Sparta Prague club. A sub-objective of this work is to compare the results within the tested group of players and provide an overall comparison of the measured data. Methods: The research sample consisted of 21 players. Laboratory testing included the diagnosis of body composition, measurement of thigh muscle strength, and testing explosive strength of the lower limbs. Field testing comprised a 5 m, 10 m, and 30 m sprint acceleration test, a 5-0-5 agility test, and a maximal 20 m linear sprint test. Results: The analysis of players showed significant disparities in the strenght of the anterior and posterior thigh muscles. Goalkeepers excelled in tests of explosive strenght in the lower limbs. In measurements of acceleration speed, forwards achieved the best times, while defenders exhibited slower results. Overall, there is a notable variability in the movement abilities of players depending on their positions on the field. Conclusion: The aim of our bachelor thesis was to objectify and compare the strength and speed...
Relative Age Effect in Czech Sport Climbing
Lonský, Ondřej ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Baláš, Jiří (referee)
Title: Relative Age Effect in Czech Sport Climbing Objective: The aim of this thesis is to investigate the manifestation of the Relative Age Effect in selected talented youth and the adult national team of sport climbing in the Czech Republic. Methods: The study analyzes the statistical significance of the expected and actual distribution of birth months in the sample studied. The research sample includes 173 subjects who have been selected for Youth Sports Centers, Elite Sports Centers for Youth, or National Sports Centers for Youth and the national sport climbing team. The chi-squared test, in the form of a goodness-of-fit test, is used to assess the manifestation of the Relative Age Effect. Results: In the overall sample studied (173 subjects), no statistically significant difference was found in the frequency of births between the first and second halves of the year. The Relative Age Effect was not demonstrated in men, while in women, a statistically significant difference was found, with a higher number of births in the first half of the year. This indicates the presence of RAE in women in Czech sport climbing. Further results relate to specific groups within the sample, such as members of youth sports centers and national teams. Conclusion: The manifestation of the Relative Age Effect was...
Evaluation of motor performance of young football players with different levels of game performance.
Lehotský, Pavol ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Bujnovský, David (referee)
Title: Evaluation of motor performance of young football players with different levels of game performance. Objectives: To identify possible differences in basic motor skills, technical football skills and agility in young football players (11-12 years) in terms of their different game performance. At the same time, the aim is to find out the mutual relations between the mentioned indicators. Methods: Quantitative research with an empirical character was used for the practical part of this bachelor thesis. A total of 25 football players (12.0 ± 0.2 years) were involved in the research. The evaluation of game performance was performed in the form of a scale questionnaire for coaches. The TGMD - 2 test battery (Test of Gross Motor Development - 2nd edition) was used to evaluate basic movement skills. A slalom test and a Loughborough soccer passing test were used to assess technical skills. Evaluation of fitness abilities was performed by using an agility test. Results: Players with the highest level of game performance achieved significantly better results in the basic movement skills test and in tests of football technique compared to players with a lower level of game performance. No significant difference was found in the agility fitness test between players with different levels of game...
Level and degree of association of selected abilties, motor skills in football players category U6
Varjan, Matej ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Level and degree of association of selected motor abilities, motor skills in football players category U6. Objectives: The aim of the research is to identify the level of the selected motor abilities, motor skills and motor docility and to determine the degree of association between these performance components in football players category U6. Methods: The research group (n = 52; age = 6.1 ± 0.3 years) consisted of football players of SK Slavia Praha Youth Academy. The participants completed one-time test battery which consisted of motor docility tests (IOWA- BRACE test), five tests of the motor abilities (5m and 10m linear running acceleration, 5m flying maximum speed, standing long jump, 4x10m shuttle run) and two tests of the specific football skills (4x10m shuttle run with a ball, slalom skills test). The degree of association was determined via Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The part with the results provides information on the level of the players' motor abilities, motor skills based on the values obtained through performed tests. The statistically significant degree of association was found between all tests across the entire test battery except for one pair (long jump from place x shuttle run with a ball). Materially significant, medium to very strong correlation r =...
Relationship between selected laboratory and field indicators of movement abilities in soccer players
Kaľata, Maroš ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Relationship between selected laboratory and field indicators of movement abilities in soccer players Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine a degree of association between selected laboratory and field indicators assumptions motion at the elite junior footballers. Methods: The research group consisted of 51 probands aged 18-19, who are in the highest first-league domestic competition of U19 team. Players undergone laboratory and field trials under the supervision of qualified professionals, which were running under the standard conditions described within the Methodology section of the theses. To verify aerobic capacity under laboratory conditions, we chose a load test on the Quasar running belt (Cosmos, Germany). Dynamic application of force to the pad was evaluated by force sensors in stable Kistler 9281E platforms (© 2014, Kistler Group, Switzerland). Linear acceleration and maximum run speed tests were conducted in field conditions on artificial grass. Results: The results of the work provide information on the significance of the associations between the selected laboratory and terrain indicators of motion assumptions in elite football players. The analysis of our results reached values between the intermittent sustainability recovery test (LEVEL 1) and VO2 max, r = 0.112....

This part contains process description of talent identification, selection, development and also retaining talented workers. Single area descriptions are completed by pictures and tables to make it well-arranged. In this section there are partly compared praxes with the theory. There is shown confrontation among theoretically defined areas and processes of talent management and IBM's areas and processes of talent management. Also important is different understanding of "talent" between theory and praxes. The third part summarizes findings and conclusions based on the confrontation between practical and theoretical parts. The fourth part evaluates actual topic of world financial crisis and its impact on the field of talent management mainly from benefits and bonuses for talented workers point of view.
