The bachelor thesis deals with the origins of private business in the production of TV documentary movies, as an example of FEBIO and its first TV documentary series The EYE - A Look at the Present. The bachelor thesis, using the information gained from a personal interview with a close colleague of the company founder, brings to light the circumstances in which private production film and television companies were established in Czech Republic. The analysis focuses on ten movies and examines them regards to the relationship between the subject and the director of the movie, the persons performing in the movie, the structure of the document and the identification of the so-called key situation that most characterizes the author's approach to the subject.
