Controlling Computer Using Gestures
Lacko, Peter ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Juránek, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with creation of system for controlling computer through webcam with gestures. Gesture in this work can be viewed as hand motion forming some pattern. In the beginning are described methods for hand detection, hand tracking and pattern recognition. Afterwards comes description of system and it's implementation with tests evaluation. Outcome of this work is program for simple control of document viewer and multimedia player.
Online interest point detector
Přibyl, Jakub ; Rajnoha, Martin (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on online learning detector for long-term tracking of object in video sequence. The object is defined by a bounding box. The text describes different parts of the detector: object tracking, object detection and online learning detector. The main contribution of this work is creating extension of the OpenTLD program for parallel detection and tracking of multiple objects. The parallelization is then compared on two practical examples and the processor's impact on detection is compared. The best results were achieved with parallelization, where all objects were detected. The most accurate detection was in the case of sufficiently learned objects with the smallest shape change.

Bandpass filter for secondary electrons in SEM - experiments
Mika, Filip ; Konvalina, Ivo ; Krátký, Stanislav ; Müllerová, Ilona
Bandpass energy filtering using a through-the-lens secondary electron (TLD) detector in a field emission gun SEM (FEG-SEM) has been known over a decade. During energy filtering, image contrast is changed and new information about the material can be observed. Our motivation for this study was to compare theoretical calculations with the experimental data\nof the SE bandpass energy filter in Magellan 400 FEG SEM. The TLD detector works as a bandpass energy filter for the special setup of electrode potentials inside the objective lens, with the positive potential on the specimen regulating the energy window.

Dose Measurement at a Radiotherapy Workplace by Means of Personal Dosimeters
ČERNOHORSKÁ, Adéla
Abstract Dose Measurement at a Radiotherapy Workplace by Means of Personal Dosimeters Ionising radiation may have negative influence on human organism, which is why protection against it is so important. Limits for radiotherapy workplaces, where medical staff work every day close to a source of the radiation, are defined by Decree No. 184/1997 Col. Personal monitoring is used at workplaces with ionizing radiation sources to measure monthly doses, which should not exceed particular limits. Personal dosimeters, apparatuses capable of detecting ionizing radiation are used for personnel monitoring. There are various types of dosimeters available, based on different principles. So called film dosimeters are used at the radiotherapy department of the Hospital České Budějovice. These dosimeters are sent to the National Personal Dosimetry Service every month where they are assessed. The aim of my work was to find out whether radiotherapy department staff and some places there may also be measured by DMC 2000 XB dosimeters by Merlin Gerin, to measure these activities and places and to compare the results with those detected by the film tape and TL type dosimeters.
