Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz
Doležel, Martin ; Sochor, Jan (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
THE GARDEN IN A CRISIS The first problem. Moving the entrance from the rotunda axis in the north to the area where the farmyard surrounded by greenhouses is situated. The consequence of this step was destruction of the conception of a floral garden and further, confusion of a visitor caused by the new and excentric garden entrance. The second problem. The original noble fill of the forefield has been perfectly cleaned, including the structure. Therefore the courtyard of honour is wedged in the two huge unspecific areas. The third problem. The nineteenth century is gone. Nowadays visitor is hard to please and unconcentrated. THE CONCEPTION Revitalisation and amendment of the forefield structure concept in subareas is both practical and it offers the esthetic quality which was lost. In relation to the axis of the garden, the area is adversely divided by some new buildings. These functional stripes make the optical barriers and they are clear in their axis. There are minimaly two six smaller areas created out of two bigger ones. Moving the main entrance from the courtyard to the rotunda center line means a possibility for the garden to step out towards its future development without some drastic changes in a objects which are part of a monument conservation but not functionally defined any more. The more, the garden gets its lost axiality, sense and a story about men's journey again. The application of the principles of the baroque garden in filling of the forefield gardens is either wrong or not considered properly. Polarized (and polar) gardens offer extreme positions of two contradictory trends. A superframed garden made by the nowadays technology versus a grove of wisdom where the nature is both a constructor and an architect. All of this with a baroque garden somewhere in its centre.
Security and architecture of IPTV content manager
Šimko, Daniel ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to analyze, propose and implement the application of IPTV Manager. The analysis probes the requirements for the application and its results are displayed in UML diagrams. The proposal is mainly focused on application's architecture and on the choice of modern technologies that faciliate its realisation. The security of the application is highly emphasized in the proposal and in the implementation itself.
IPTV transmission planner using tomcat and stripes and hibernate frameworks
Vajsar, Pavel ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with concept of web application for planning IPTV broadcast - IPTV client. The specific broadcast with protocols RTP and RTCP is not included. After logging on you are able to record programs (video files), manage users, create feedbacks and create new roles as well with this application. First part of this work considers with analytical concept of application - the database model, diagram of cases of use and activity diagram. The next part deals with using software resources, user interface design and data exchange between the application and the database. Other areas, which are better described in this project, are for example safety of application, role separation and upload files with bigger size on the server.
Native XML Database
Piwko, Karel ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Stryka, Lukáš (advisor)
XML is de facto standard for enchanging information on the Internet, among applications and business companies. While storing XML, we can choose between techniques allowing us to use relation database and native XML databases, whose underlaying XML data model is more appropriate. This study is about creating and comparision of web applications based on mentioned technologies, using open source database eXist, web framework Apache Cocoon and open source database PostgreSQL, application framework Stripes, Java Persistence API and EJB. As a sample, portal of Wikipedia was chosen, in both cases powered by JBoss application server.

Fabrication of periodic stripes based on self-organization of Ni and C60
Vacík, Jiří ; Naramoto, H.
Fabrication of the self-organized mesoscopic stripe system induced by co-deposition of C60 and Ni on the MgO(001) substrate is reported. It was found that a periodic array of stripe domains is formed if specific deposition kinetics is applied. As a possible mechanism of the stripe formation a step-wise relaxation of the internal stress accumulated in the hybrid composite of the immiscible Ni and C60 (a-C) phases is suggested.
