Lohrová, Zuzana ; Jelen, Jakub (advisor) ; Nekolný, Lukáš (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of the impact of the inscription of the Landscape for the Breeding and Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses in Kladruby nad Labem on the World Heritage List from the point of view of actors in the public, private and non-profit spheres. This inscription took place in July 2019 and it is now possible to study its further development. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the presentation of the UNESCO organization and the evaluation of the possible effects of the inscription of the monument on the World Heritage List according to the literature. It is also focused on the analysis of the Landscape for the Breeding and Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses in Kladruby nad Labem. The second part presents the research, which was focused on evaluating the impact of the inscription on the World Heritage List using semi-structured interviews with the individual actors mentioned above. One of the main findings is, for example, that respondents consider the increased level of professional care of the estate to be the greatest benefit. On the contrary, disruption of the daily life of local residents can be considered as a negative impact. Performance and application of old-kladruber horses
JEŽKOVÁ, Miroslava
The Old Kladruby horse is one of the oldest Czech horse breed. It is classified among the genetic animal resources of the Czech Republic. It is also declared to be a national cultural monument along with the stud farm Kladruby nad Labem. The aim of the thesis was to elaborate the history of the development, characteristics and possibilities of work utilization, to process information about the development and possible appearance changes during the last 20 years, when 5 body measurements were monitored. The task was also to produce data concerning the progress and results of performance tests. Another aim was to find information about the application within the Czech Equestrian Federation. All values were processed both statistically and graphically and subsequently evaluated. The results showed that the height at the withers are gradually increasing for all the monitored categories of horses. The circumference of the barrel decreases in the stallions, but in mares it is exactly the opposite. For white mares, the value stopped at an average of 201.97 cm, which is 5 cm more than the average value of the stallions. The circumference of the cannon (shin of the horse) did not change rapidly. However black horses had slight changes. For stallions, the circumference was reduced by 0.5 cm and the mare again increased by 0.5 cm. The reason for that is apparently weight gain in mares and the presence of stronger limbs. The visible weight loss of the stallion is visible both in white and in black ones. Even in the case of white horses, the average value decreased below 600 kg to 598.43 kg. The stallions have a higher body frame but at the same time they reduce the weight. From this information it is certain that the breed is slowly moving towards the sporty type. The weight of mares, in observed years, increased significantly from an initial average of 585 kg in both categories. In white mares, they increased to an average of 619.4 kg and 609.45 kg for the black ones. In the results for the last 20 years, the scores of all parts of the performance tests are down. The highest recorded average rating is in the marathon discipline, which tends to increase gradually. The highest results for the monitored period can be seen in 2000-2004 when the average score was higher than in other years. As part of the Czech Equestrian Federation, it was found that the highest representation of the Old Kladruby horses is in the harness racing, especially the white stallions. Breed representative is also in show jumping but the number is negligible.

Mlčochová, Věra
Throughout the diploma thesis have dealt with the statistical evaluation of the influence of gender factor, breed, age and year of start on the performance and number of PPBs in driving and dressage competitions. The breed factor, gender, age and start year of start have had a statistically high impact on the performance in driving competitions. In regards of the numbers of PPB in dressage, the gender factor, age, year of start statistically proved to be a significant effect. These breeds start much more in driving competitions compared to dressage competitions, except the Friesian horse, which starts more in dressage. The number of starting horses in the driving was 777, in dressage 180. Also, it was found that the average performance of those breeds in the team competitions was between ST and T, whereby level of efficiency was reached by 635 horses. In dressage competitions Friesian horse with 53 % representation is the highest one, followed by Old-Kladrub horses with 44 %, then Lipizzaner horses with 3 %. Individuals of Friesian horses averaged 1.40 PPB, while Old-Kladrub 2.78 PPB, Lipizzaner 0.50 PPB. It was found that the Old-Kladrub horses in the driving competitions mostly have been achieving performance T, in dressage L. The stallions of this breed have reached 3.77 PPB in dressage.
