Design and construction of a magnetorquer
Sedlařík, Marek ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of satellite control using a magnetic field. Describes the physical principle of the magnetorquer and its interaction with the Earth's magnetic field. It contains a summary of advantages and disadvantages of individual solutions and their comparison with alternative control systems. Includes a search of currently available devices. It introduces the standardized CubeSat nanosatellites, their subsystems and ECSS standards, which define the parameters of equipment for space applications. It deals with the issue of the geomagnetic field, its fluctuations and describes selected orbits of the planet Earth. The main part of the work contains a description and implementation of the test system, which consists in the design of the printed circuit board, the program part of the test board and the user interface. This part also includes a detailed design and implementation of a two-axis magnetorquer, including simulations.

Case study of patient with diagnosis of lumbar and other intervertebral discs disease with radiculopathy
Hrdlička, Vít ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Hlavičková, Růžena (referee)
Bachelor thesis title: Case study of patient with diagnosis of lumbar and other intervertebral discs disease with radiculopathy. Objectives: Objective of this thesis is to describe physioterapeutic procedures used to treat the patient diagnosed with lumbar and other intervertebral discs disease with radiculopathy. General section of this thesis is focused on background theory reserach. The disease definition, etiology, clinical picture, diagnostics and conservative therapy used to treat said condition are all covered in this section. Spondylolisthesis classification and various imaging methods are further discussed. Special section of this thesis covers the casuistry of the patient with said diagnosis. Twelve various therapies are descibed in this section. All of them were conducted in Central Military Hospital Prague, Ward unit of Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The whole therapy effect evaluation is covered in the thesis conclusion section. Methods: Methods developed by Janda, Véle, Lewit, Pavlů and Kolář were used during the examination and therapy. Results: Loosening of the postoperative scar as well as of the right m. triceps surae soleus was achieved. Breathing stereotype was adjusted, abdominal muscles activated and the ribs positioning during inspiration was lowered....
Use of hippotherapy on faulty posture

This Bachelor's thesis, with the subject Use of Hippotherapy on Faulty Posture, principally describes divisions, technical parameters and characteristics of therapeutic resources for hipporehabilitation and hippotherapy. This thesis describes therapeutic use of characteristic motions experienced during horseback riding in order to facilitate and optimize activity of patient's postural functions, including deep spinal stabilization, and its...
Function of deep hull stabilization system in kraul technique
Kohoutová, Eva ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was describing the importance of the torso/core system function in the crawl swimming stroke. The theoretical part is divided into two topics. The first topic deals with the crawl swimming stroke, where the correct model technique and subsequently the most common mistakes are described. Regarding the model technique the correct position of the head and body, the movements of the upper and lower limbs, the correct breathing and complete movement coordination are described in detail. The second topic deals with the core system in general and clarifies the meaning of this system. The muscles of the core system and their functions are described in detail as well. The connection of breathing with the core system is mentioned as well as the muscle imbalances and the subsequent vertebral algic syndrome. The methods of examination and the connection of the torso/core system with the swimming locomotion were further described. The practical part deals with the tracking of an actual person swimming crawl stroke on a 800m distance. The monitored person underwent an examination of the core system strength and subsequently, after the warmup 200 m swim, was filmed using a GoPro camera on the mentioned 800m distance. The video with all mistakes was further analysed regarding to the...
Design rehabilitačních pomůcek
Váňová, Anna
The thesis deals with the design of rehabilitation aids. The theoretical part, which explains the concept of rehabilitation and its classification with a regard to thera-peutic rehabilitation, is an important basis for the final design. The research fo-cused on therapeutic rehabilitation describes exercise aids available on the market that are used both for therapeutic and training purposes. Further, the thesis is concerned with the issue of balance exercises, their positive impact on the body and clinical indications. Besides, the ergonomic aspects of these aids are briefly mentioned too. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the process of designing balance aids. The final design includes a visualization of 3D models and materials for functional models.
The influence of the foot on posture and the axial system
Kvasnička, Tomáš ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Janečková, Alexandra (referee)
Diagnosis of a flat foot plaques a large percentage of the population lately, which is probably caused by people's current lifestyle. The goal of my thesis was to find the effect of flat foot on posture as a whole and figure out a suitable therapy to influence this disorder. The introduction described the anatomical structure of the arch of the foot and its biomechanical function. Then, the causes of the sagging of the arch were described and the effects on the whole body. Based on these findings a set of excercises was created, in order to improve the sagging of the arch of the foot, and then demostrated on a patient with flat foot. At the end of the thesis is a summary of the results and recomendations for future work with problems of this type.
