Polyphony in dialogical texts

The thesis deals with the analysis of advertising texts and audio-visual recordings with a focus on their argumentation and polyphony. The theoretical part characterizes the advertising genre from a linguistic point of view, focusing on its structure and argumentation. In the practical part, six advertising messages are analysed, three of them are static and three are audio-visual. Finally, the contribution and conclusions of the Theses are evaluated and further possibilities for future research are proposed.
Position of adjectives in Spanish and French - developmental trends

The Abstract The name of the dissertation: The position of adjectives in Spanish and French - increasing tendency The keywords: adjective, Spanish, French, a position of adjectives, anteposition, postposition, increasing tendency. The dissertation named The position of adjectives in Spanish and French French - increasing tendency deals with issues of position of adjectives in French and Spanish language. The main topic of this dissertation is tendency to anteposition for these two languages. It's split to several parts which are separated by themes. At the beginning, we are focusing on adjectives in general and to its basic properties as a part of speech. After, we will get to know an adjective from semantic and syntactic aspect, which is underlying exactly for the position of adjective. In the end of the theoretical part we will also focus on increasing tendency in this area. The practical part will be about corpus and questionnaire research which is intended for native speakers. The aim of this dissertation is confirm or disprove a hypothesis of common tendency to anteposition for French and Spanish adjectives.
Spanish and Czech Phraseology and Idioms Considering Journalistic Texts

This thesis is focused on the analysis of phrasemes and idioms in Spanish and Czech journalistic texts. In its theoretical part, we discuss the definition of phraseology and idioms as linguistic disciplines within Czech and Spanish linguistics. The practical part contains a sample corpus of phrases and idioms based on selected excerpts from newspaper articles during a specific time period. These linguistic units are divided into thematic groups by their base words, their meaning is explained and formal and substantive similarities between Czech and Spanish are observed. We do not aim at presenting a set of idioms of the language, only to point out the currently used idioms in journalistic texts. Linguistic variation in the Spanish of Cuba

Variation in Cuban Spanish Abstract The aim of this thesis is to deal with the topic of variation in Cuban Spanish, with a special emphasis on the Havana variety, one of the most innovative and recognizable within the island's linguistic landscape. The work is divided into three sections: phonetics and phonology, lexis and semantics, morphology and syntax. The cases described are illustrated with entries taken from a lexico- graphical work of personal authorship, or likewise with usage examples mainly taken from the Reference Corpus of Contemporary Spanish (CREA). On the basis of the analysis of the collected data, this paper examines the state of variability and balance inherent to the system, in order to deepen in the understanding of the mechanisms that shape this language variety. Bloom´s taxonomy (RBT) in Spanish languagy teaching and learning

The master´s thesis offers a look at Bloom´s Taxonomy and its revision. The thesis is not divided into theoretical and practical parts as it is usual for this kind of work as both parts are interconnected. The thesis describes both forms of Bloom´s Taxonomy and its reception in the Czech educational system. The relationship between the categories of the Revised Bloom´s Taxonomy and its corresponding parts of Spanish language is described here as well as the way of asking questions using RBT. An analysis of chosen exercises from Spanish student´s books for secondary schools is conducted and can be found in the work. Moreover, the activities which lead to using higher categories of RBT are described. In the final part, the questionnaire concerning the relationship of Czech teachers to RBT is assessed.
Plural for words of foreign origin in Spanish Language - analysis based on corpus data

This work focuses on the form of plural number of foreign words in spanish language. The main goal of this work is compare a few grammatical publication, which are occupied with this problem in general and which describe the possibility of form the plural number of foreign words after that some selected words from these publications will be consult in the practise part of this work. The next goal of this work is analyse foreign words from the diachronic and diastratic perspective of the view.

The topic of the thesis is general frazeology of Czech and Spanish language. It focuses in detail on study of this problematics in a field of colours. The thesis has two parts. In the first of the parts, the theoretical one, I will clarify the basic therms which are narrowly linked to the topic of idiomatics and frazeology. In the second part I will collect concrete idioms and sayings that are present in Spanish language and that contains in its structure some colour. Further I will carry on the analisis of its meaning, as well as its structure and the last apsect will be translatology.
Application of e-learning in teaching and testing Spanish

This diploma thesis is focused on description of methods for creating educational text and designing examples of spanish learning texts. In theoretical part I am describing The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and its utilisation in process of creating educational texts. Beside that I am analyzing educational methods for language learning and influence of new technologies in educational process. At the end of the theoretical part I am describing main methods which are used for creating educational texts. Practical part is focused on creating certain examples of my own designed educational texts based on my conclusions from the teoretical part and my own experiences. My designed educational texts contain all of the important parts and go with my personal comments that explains my decisions. Designated educational text could be used as an example for creating another similar texts, because it contains all of the essencials.
Josef Dubský in the Context of Czech and Foreign Hispanistic Studies

This thesis is focused on the Czech prestigious hispanist Josef Dubský and his linguistic labour. It is divided into five chapters. The first chapter outlines the history of Spanish studies in the Czech Republic. The second chapter speaks about life of Josef Dubský. Next three chapters are dedicated to Dubský´s labour in the field of grammar, lexicology and semantics and stylistics. There are presented studies and articles published by Dubský in different Czech and international periodicals and also his Spanish textbooks and Czech-Spanish (Spanish-Czech) dictionaries. In the annex there is enclosed the summery of Dubsky´s publications including the front pages of the textbooks and dictionaries we used in this work.
