Player for iPhone for Educational Purposes

This thesis deals with the design and implementation of mobile application for iPhone that serves as a music player. The application works with meta-information to a music song and suggests their use in the process of memorization. The thesis is divided into chapters, starting with the characteristics of the target platform iOS, user interface design and its testing, principles of creating computer music and sound. The core of this thesis is to design a user interface along with the structure and use of meta-information related to a song. At the end of the thesis there is described the implementation of the application, the tests performed and possibilities for further improvements of the application.

Folklore ensemble Doudlebánek in the years 1982 -2022

This final work is devoted to efforts to restore and maintain folk traditions and customs in the village Doudleby. The work consists of four consecutive chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the establishment of the village and its history. The second captures attempts to restore traditions and customs typical of this village. The third is dedicated to one of the oldest folklore ensembles, the Doudleban National Ensemble. The fourth chapter records the children's ensemble Doudlebánek, which is the future for the preservation of folk customs and traditions.

Problems in listening comprehension in Czechs lessons by German native speakers

The thesis called ``Problems in listening comprehension in Czech lessons by German native speakers{\crqq} characterizes German and Czech language, especially their different traits entering teaching Czech as a foreign language. It maps typical phenomenon in Czech courses at Kepler{\crq}s University in Linz. The thesis deals with effective use of listening texts and their influence on getting further language skills and proficiency in Czech lessons for foreigners. The practical part of the document puts stress particularly on songs that help to teach and learn the language. They are arranged according to the mistakes which were made by German speakers in Czech lessons so that these mistakes were eliminated. The document also contains an evaluation of efficiency of the songs in a form of questionnaire for Austrian students and an interview with four Czech teachers at Kepler{\crq}s university.

Evolutionary importance of mixed singing in two species of nightingales

Singing is important for communication in birds. Some species of birds copy singing from other species. This heterospecific copying of singing is common especially in closely related bird species, and is usually called mixed singing in such cases. Mixed singing is often asymmetric, when only one species of the pair copies a song of the congener. The meaning of mixed singing is not well explained yet. The most common mechanism is probably an error during the learning phase of singing, but in some cases mixed singing can be adaptive. In my master's thesis I deal with the evolutionary meaning of mixed singing in two closely related passerine species - Common nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos) and Thrush nightingale (Luscinia luscinia). These species co-occur in secondary contact zone in central and eastern part of Europe. Only Thrush nightingale which is larger and probably a more dominant species, exhibits mixed singing. In playback experiments in Common nightingale I studied a possible adaptive meaning of mixed singing in relation to interspecific communication. Songs of Ludvík Vítězslav Čelanský

Bachelor's thesis deals with the songs of Ludvík Vítězslav Čelanský (1870 - 1930). The purpose of this thesis is to put the above songs into its context of the times based on the characteristics of the selected songs. The thesis deals with the evolution of the song in 19th century and the first third of the 20th century and consequently about the songs of Čelanský including details of each song and basis of sources. After that continues the analytic part with the textual and musical analysis of selected songs. In the concluding part are denominated all the means which Čelanský uses in the composition of his songs including the mode of interpretation of the poetic text.

The term is elaborated on and presented in relationship with language, culture and oral tradition. Orgins and History of the Czech Chrismas Music

The thesis deals with the Czech Christmas spiritual music, wants to point out and pick up her beauty, popularity and popularity across the public and in the circles of the Church and in the wider public. The method is the research the available literature and handouts for this topic, which is evident in the Division of the individual chapters. The introduction will include music and history of music. In the next part we will spend Christmas spiritual music, we close its emergence, history, Christian context, familiar carols and songs and their lyrics with a spiritual focus, some of the selected authors and their works both from the past and from the present. We also in our surroundings, to learn more about the Christmas music of our neighbors, or some European countries. In the next part of the main chapters refer to the positive influence of the Christmas music on the evangelization of pastoration and also on Ecumenism - attitude to Christmas music in some churches, and on its place in the broader public. The conclusion should answer the question of why is Christmas music and in particular the Czech Christmas music so much popular and popular among both artists and in the Christian churches and the public, with an interference fit and why it appears almost as a phenomenon. Children's choir Canzonetta in České Budějovice

This bachelor thesis focuses on founding progress and current form of Children's choir Canzonetta, currently residing in Elementary art school Bezdrevská 3. It gives us a chance to take a look at repertoire and presentation on Czech as well as international singings contest. My thesis also includes basic information of other choirs: Piccolo (for children aged 6-8), Da Capo (for children between ages 8-12), mixed choir Canzona and female choir Vox Novus. Amongst other things, this thesis also focuses on cooperation between Canzonetta and Opera of South Bohemian Theatre.
