ZEJDOVÁ, Veronika
Diploma thesis deals with the quality of life of seniors in residential services within the framework of anti-pandemic restrictions of social contacts. The aim of this qualification work is to evaluate the quality of life of seniors in two selected homes for the elderly within the framework of anti-pandemic restrictions on social contacts in the Czech Republic, together with an assessment of the effect of these measures on the general condition of the seniors. Four typological examples serve for this purpose. In the first chapter, through selected scientific disciplines, human is conceived as a naturally social being, while the importance of social contact and social relationship in his life is pointed out. In the second part, the basic aspects of ageing are outlined, on the basis of which it is established that in the life of a seniors, they can mean the emergence of certain needs and at the same time cause a different arrangement of the value scale. Their fulfillment or non-fulfillment is then directly related to the evaluation of the quality of their life. In the last part, the disease Covid-19 is characterized. Subsequently, the covid situation in both homes for the elderly is described, and finally the typological examples themselves are presented and their ethical evaluation.
Distance learning and the use of digital technologies in education
Kajtmanová, Alžběta ; Kursch, Martin (advisor) ; Krámský, David (referee)
This thesis focuses on the effect of the covid-19 pandemic on education at a selected primary school from the point of view of teachers during the first and second wave. It focuses on defining the concepts such as distance learning, e-learning, digital technologies and platforms. The work reflects how the Czech education system was affected from March 2020 to May 2021. The theoretical part focuses on the theoretical conception of terms that are associated with the pandemic and distance learning, but also with the concept of socialization and communication, which were greatly affected during the pandemic, especially when it comes to children. The research part was then carried out with the help of a semi-structured interview, which was conducted at a selected primary school in groups with four teachers. One of the most fundamental questions of the whole interview was the greatness of the pandemic`s effect on the pupils and the teachers of this particular primary school. Nonverbal communication in the pedagogical communication
Musil, Roman ; Prokop, Jiří (referee)
This thesis aims to draw the attention of teachers throughout different grades to a number of nonverbal phenomena that occur (mostly subconsciously) during didactic communication, not only amid students and teachers but amongst classmates, as well. This treatise transfigures scientific research in the fields of nonverbal communication and business into a didactic environment. By describing the many nonverbal phenomena, the teacher can envision what is behind the nonverbal signals that the students emit and what signals he transmits back. As a result of the knowledge acquired on nonverbal communication in didactic communication, the teacher can intentionally improve his own relationship with students and amid classmates, as well as the bond between students and the given subject, which can contribute to greater joy in the process of learning for both students and teachers. The teacher may apply the knowledge from this paper when interacting with parents or colleagues, as well.
The Importance of Home Care Service in a Case of Seniors with Mental Disabilities (Neurosis and Depression)
DOHNALOVÁ, Helena
I maintain a position, that large disruptions in the mental state of the late old people are rooted in a loss of physical motion as well as they stem from vast absence of social contacts. Hand in hand with it comes an evanescence of seniors{\crq} ability to enjoy pleasure and happiness. In their declining years they are very reliant on the other people{\crq}s help. I was looking for proofs of how much the household help is only a paid service, or how much carers fulfil missing contacts and communication with the outside world for seniors.
