POSPÍŠILOVÁ, Erika
This study focuses on the psychohygiene of emergency medical responders, aiming to understand the professional demands on their mental health and well-being. The work analyzed stress factors, burnout syndrome, and mental health, examining the influence of stress on individuals and the importance of mental hygiene and self-care. The main objective was to ascertain the perception of psychological demands among emergency medical responders in prehospital care. The theoretical part of the study addresses issues of mental disorders, the influence of stress, and its effects on emergency medical responders. The practical section sought answers to predetermined hypotheses through research. The research was based on a questionnaire survey distributed among emergency medical responders. Based on the findings, it was observed that many responders experience stressful situations related to their work, which can have a negative impact on their mental health and well-being. We found no significant difference in the perception of psychological demands between genders. There was no difference in the perception of psychological demands based on length of practice. We also identified various activities that emergency medical responders engage in for their mental hygiene. The results indicate that providing support for stress management and mental health care is crucial for emergency medical responders in their professional lives. The conclusions of this study may contribute to a better understanding of responders' needs and the support of their mental health and well-being in the workplace. In the conclusion of the bachelor's thesis, in addition to summarizing the research results and evaluating the fulfillment of objectives, recommendations for current practice among emergency medical responders are provided. These recommendations are derived from the findings and can serve as a practical guide for improving the care of mental health among emergency medical responders in their professional environment.

STRÁSKÝ, Marek
This thesis focuses on the financial income of social workers and the possibilities of self-care for social workers depending on their income. The first part of this thesis contains a theoretical definition of the concept of self-care. First, this thesis describes the interconnectedness of self-care with mental hygiene, then it discusses the potential risks of inadequate self-care, and finally it presents the obstacles that social workers face in their pursuit of self-care. The third part of this thesis quantifies the minimum financial cost required for a basic level of self-care. This quantification is based on the concept of the Minimum decent wage. Based on this quantification, this thesis then proposes two possible adjustments to the financial remuneration of social workers. The final part of this thesis deals with the ethical side of the issue, which is considered mainly from the perspective of deontology and utilitarianism.

The level of self-care patients after leg amputation
HONZÁRKOVÁ, Klára
This thesis deals with the issue of patients after the amputation of the lower limb. Loss of the lower limb means a great change for the patient, not only in understanding the integrity of one's own body, one's own health, but also from a functional point of view. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the latest available knowledge about lower limb amputation and postoperative care for patients with this diagnosis. It also deals with self-care, based on Dorotheus Orem's theory of self-care deficit. The aim of the work was to determine the level of self-care of patients after amputation of the lower limb using some aspects of D. E. Orem's model. To find out in what systems D.E. Orem's nurses support patients after the amputation of the lower limb in self-care and how to help nurses care for these patients. The research part of the thesis was realized through a qualitative research survey. The technique of data collection was a semi-structured interview with patients with amputation of the lower limb and nurses who provide nursing care for such ill persons. The theoretical basis for the interview was the DE Oremové model, which was complemented by the ADL (Activity Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Scale) and the analogue range of pain in the group of respondents - patients. The data obtained were processed in the form of transcripts of the interviews, which are supplemented by evaluation of individual scales. The output of the diploma thesis is a set of recommended measures and a proposal of a comprehensive information material on the amputation of the lower limb for patients, which the nurses should be available to their departments.
The role of the nurse in the developement of self-sufficiency of geriatric patient.
MÁLOVÁ, Dominika
The aim of this thesis is to describe the role of the nurse in the development of the self-sufficiency of the geriatric patient in the health care facility and in the residential social facilities. In connection with this objective, the main hypothesis has been established: Nurses working in a health care facility perceive the importance of developing self-sufficiency differently than nurses working in social care facilities. The empirical part of the thesis was elaborated using a quantitative research survey, which was carried out using a questionnaire of author´s own design. The questionnaire included questions about nursing perceptions and attitudes to maintain and develop the self-sufficiency of a patient/senior-age client in a hospital and social care facility. The first part was focused on basic identification data, the second part dealt with how sisters perceive the maintenance and development of seniors' self-sufficiency. The next part was to find out how nurses are self-serving in a self-sufficient patient. Further, the questionnaire examined the nurses' efforts to use compensatory aids and their opinion of working with other specialists. The obtained results were processed in MS Excel using graphs and statistical testing. The research group consisted of nurses working in hospital facilities and social care facilities in the South Bohemian Region. The results of the thesis are divided into 5 areas, where the view and attitude of nurses working in individual facilities for the development of self-sufficiency of the patient / client of the senior age is compared. Further, they describe the opinions of the sisters on: the perception of the importance of the development of seniors' self-sufficiency, the influence of self-sufficiency on the quality of the senior´s life, the performance of self-care for the seniors and the use of compensatory aids in maintaining and developing their self-sufficiency. The work provides a general view of the patient/seniors in the field of maintaining and developing self-sufficiency. The results can be used by nurses in practice as well as students of non-medical health care disciplines. It also provides evidence of the importance of maintaining and developing self-sufficiency in providing comprehensive care and improving the quality of life of seniors. The work can be the basis for further research.

A significant part in the return to a full life is the acceptance of the stoma by the patient and his ability of being active when taking care of stoma. The theoretical part in the introduction describes the Theory of self-care deficit. The second part of the theoretical work summarizes basic information regarding the issue of derivation of intestinal stoma and the issue of acceptance of the changed body image and self-care. Objectives and hypotheses: The aim of this work is to find out differences in the acceptance of stoma and care for stoma among patients after intestinal surgery. To achieve the objective of the work, there were set three hypothesis. H1: Patients with a permanent stoma experience major changes in the psychosocial area than patients with temporary stoma. H2: In the postoperative period, women approach practising the stoma care differently than men. H3: Patients under 55 have more information about living with stoma than older patients. Methodology: The research part of the work has been carried out through quantitative research. The form of data gathering was an anonymous questionnaire. The only criterion of the selection of the respondents was the state of health after the intestinal surgery with the subsequent stoma. During the search of the respondents were addressed organizations joining the patients with stoma, stoma and proctologic ambulances of selected hospitals, hospices and homes for elderly people. The obtained data were processed by descriptive statistics in graphs by the help of Microsoft Office Excel 2010. Further on, the statistical evaluation of hypotheses was carried out. Hypotheses were tested by chi-square test in a PivotTable, the average values were compared by T-test. The chosen significance level was 5 %. Conclusion: The work provides a comprehensive look at the issue of acceptance of stoma self-care after intestinal surgery. Creating of stoma, regardless of age or sex of the patient and also regardless of its eventual duration radically influences the patient's life.
