The Master´s thesis deals with the logistics services studies in Sika CZ, Ltd. Company. Considering the fact that the principal activity of the company is trading, it uses logistics as a substantial instrument to achieve the customers’ satisfaction. The main objective of the thesis is to create logical structures of services and project suitable metrics for measuring customers’ satisfaction of the provided services.

Design of an Information System Part for Project Management Support

This bachelor thesis is aimed at improving the information system of INTERDEKOR s.r.o. based in Horní Těrlicko. The main focus is laid on the ways of easing the process of order evidence that is done by projectants. Firstly, I will get familiar with the TurboCad project environment. Secondly, I will suggest changes that should result in saving the time projectants spend on administrative matters. The above-mentioned changes might enable them to focus fully on their primary work, which is project-making. Last but not the least, I will deal with simplifying the process of price bid creation. This simplification should shorten the time needed for accomplishing this task.

A thesis deals with the assessment of the information system in an engineering company, the assessment of its efficiency and the proposal of the ICT modification to improve this system. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the proposal of the information system changes in the company and the elimination of the risks related to these changes. An analytical part also deals with the company analysis, the analysis of the company processes and the analysis of the current information system. .

The company has significant requirements for quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost that will be taken into account when choosing a system. LOGISTIC CONCEPT FOR VIRTUAL ORGANISATIONS

The thesis addresses the role of logistic concept in a virtual organization. Theory of virtual organization was complemented by a definition of virtuality and a model of virtual organization was created. Two measurable properties of virtual organizations are used for construction of a 2x2 matrix of centralization – integration giving thus clear view of virtual organizations taxonomy. Duality of hierarchic dimension of network structure and layers of the virtual dimension led to a comprehensive description of virtual enterprises with the aid of newly created 3x3 matrix of virtual layer – hierarchy level. Within this framework are interpreted processes in virtual organization during virtual enterprise’s lifecycle. Dynamic restructuring and stability issues are explained with the aid of the matrixes. A consistent approach of presented virtual organization’s theory gives interpretation of emerging logistic concept. The use and application potential of presented theory is exemplified in development of RFID implementation method for virtual organizations. Attention is paid to RFID costs and benefits analysis under condition of virtual organizing.

Proposal for Changes to the Information System of Small Business

This bachleor thesis focuses on the assessment and proposal for changes to the information system of HCV group a.s. company. During its processing analysis was carried out on theoretical foundations as well as an analysis of the current information system within the company. Finally, based on these analyses a proposal was put forward to provide a solution that will contribute to the efficiency and operation of the whole system within the company.

Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of a company's information system and suggestions for its improvement. The first part focuses on putting the reader into the issue by explaining important terms. They form the necessary basis for understanding the practical part, which leads to the evaluation of the effectiveness of an information system based on the results of a HOS8 and SWOT analysis. From a formal evaluation then follows the determination of proposals for improving company's information system.

Snapshot and Rollback Support for Configuration Files in Fedora

The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement tools for support of a snapshot and a rollback for configuration files on the GNU/Linux distribution. The set of the tools enables an automatic/periodical saving of the configuration files into the selected placement. The creation of backups reacts to file events by watching the changes with kernel subsystem inotify. Tools are enabling to return to the selected backup. The way of the backup actualization is configurable. This tool permits the data comparison from selected backups, to show the differences in configurations and eventually to manage a merge among actual and selected backup. Tools also allows a comparison of a configurations of one client or configurations among clients, and to display the mutual differences, eventually to manage their merge.
