Design of adaptive wireless video and data transmission
Měření probíhalo i v reálných podmínkách. V závěru jsou komentovány výsledky měření a výběr nejlepšího kodeku pro real time video přenos.
A Tool for VoIP Audio Extraction
Ružička, Jakub ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis, we describe VoIP protocols and design of a system to reconstruct audio data from VoIP communication. The system is able to detect VoIP packet streams in an IP network traffic and assemble an audio signal they carry. RTP and IAX VoIP protocols are supported. Unlike widespread RTP protocol, IAX is not fully supported by available tools although it is used by increasingly popular Asterisk communications project and offers interesting features not found in RTP. The system is implemented as a library with minimal frontend.
VoIP in Jabber Client
Analysis and Detection of Multimedia Types in RTP Traffic
Kmeť, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issues of detecting the codec used for the encoding of voice data carried by the RTP protocol without having access to the information carried by signalisation protocols in VoIP applications. Its main goal is to create and implement a fast algorithm for detecting the codec used for voice transfer via the RTP protocol. This algorithm should be fast enough to be used for offline analysis of captured data as well as for real-time online analysis. For research of possibilities were compared two approaches of detection. Detection by the characteristics of the codecs was chosen to solve the problem itself. Within the solution was performed data analysis and implementation of the application followed by testing on data.
SIP client in Java
Zukal, Martin ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of a client-based application with the utilization of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The first part describes SIP with an emphasis on basic concepts. Then a brief description of the Java programming language which will be used for the implementation follows. The most extensive part is devoted to the description of a design and implementation of the application. Some techniques used during the development of the applicaton are being discussed in this part. The thesis is finished up with test scenarios verifying functionality of the application.
Optimization of network position prediction
Pospíšil, Petr ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This work is about position prediction in network, it is focused to find Landmark closest to the Host in the network (with lowest distance vector). The algorithm is based on GNP system. In terms of GNP system simulation was selected method for mathematical part of position prediction. The method was Simplex Downhill. The designed algorithm was implemented in Java. In the first step chose Host continent by meassuring the distance vector. In next step is selected nearest part in the continent. In conclusion estimate Host its position and then closest Landmark. Results from this work is important for designing TTP protocol. The verdict is that the GNP can be used for TTP, but Landmarks must be located in uniform density.
IMS multimedia services
Dohnálek, Václav ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis refers to a new technology in a mobil services IP multimedia subsystem. First, the theoreticl part, refers to the architectury of this technology and elementary protocols. Although it is real-time services, is nesessary to refer about the Quality of Services, that it ensures the condent transmition of data. The second, practisy part refers to a the development background SDS 4.0 FD1 from Ericsson ltd., that it is used develop aplications for IMS technology. It will be to develop the aplication , that it used to the IMS and it refers to the elementary function and comunication.
Video on Demand service in JavaME
Obdržálek, Petr ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with creation of system that provides video on demand. Technologies which are used to creation mobile application are analyzed. There are also mentioned today's most used codecs in the mobile devices. There are described standards, norms, principles and recommendations for transfer multimedia data on network in real time. Technologies which are appropriate for functionality of system on server side are described. The output of the work is an operational sample of whole system and description of functionality of this system.
Camera Recording Management System
Šulc, Ondřej ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a network security system focusing on compatibility with the widest possible group of IP cameras from various manufacturers and support for remote access to records even from places outside the local network. This problem is solved using two closely cooperating applications. The first application runs on a device in the local network (in our case miniPC Raspberry Pi). The application creates the records by receiving and storing RTSP transmissions from individual cameras. It then modifies these records into a form usable for display on websites and sends the second application from which the user can access them. This application is referred to in the text as agent or agent application. The second application has a web user interface and serves the end user as a tool to manage agents, IP cameras and captured records. By principle of the application, it is important for it to be accessible on a publicly available domain. This application is referred to in the text as web or web application. The use of this architecture does not violate any of the network communication standards, which include, in particular, the initialization of communication from the network behind the NAT service.
Asterisk VoIP private branch exchange and its distributions
Melichar, Ondřej ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Papež, Nikola (advisor)
This master’s thesis delves into the possibilities of the open-source Private Branch Exchange Asterisk, elaborates on its features and compares it with several other distros. The term SIP stack is explained here with the mention of two of its representatives. Further in the thesis, the security risks of the VoIP technology are explained, and specific attacks are described and then realized. As a part of the testing process, the possibilities of a custom module and its following implementation are explored, as well as the portability between the individual distros and its proper functioning.
