Bachelor thesis deals with issues of food waste, specifically focused of level of retail. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the process of food wasting in retail and analyse areas, where can uneconomical food management be expected, especially then identify problem areas and proposal measures to eliminate inefficient food management in retail and reduce costs. Due to the insufficient representation of studies, research related to this issue in the Czech Republic, secondary data will be processed on the basis of foreign studies. Primary data will be obtained from retail representatives, based on the output, which will enable identify problem areas in retail.

This bachelor thesis focuses on merchandising activities of an unnamed retail chain in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis presents the basic concepts related to retail and merchandising. The second part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of the current situation of merchandising in a selected store in Brno – Kohoutovice district, by making a comparison with the competition and analysis of measures to improve the current situation of the merchandising of this store.

The diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour on sportswear market focusing on fitness, golf and equestrianism. It focuses on identification of main factors which influence consumer behaviour during sportswear purchase. The questionnaire survey (n=430) and cluster analysis were used to identify the key segments of the market. Quality and comfort of clothing were identified as the most important factors. The output of the research are marketing recommendations for retailers operating on the sportswear market in the Czech Republic.

The thesis is focused on the identification of problems in the management of liquidity of a retail company. The selected company is subjected to a financial analysis, which for comparison is supplemented by the results achieved in its industry over a time horizon of nine years. The general economic circumstances that affected the functioning of the company are mentioned as well. Based on the results of the analysis practical proposals are formulated along with an estimation of their impacts on liquidity and other financial indicators.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify the role of rural stores for village in-habitants based on the study of literature and own research. The research is based on a survey and semi-structured interviews to verify the importance of the shop's existence in terms of supply and social function. The results of the investigation will be compared to the findings of the literature and founded informations will be synthesized.

The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out what is the awareness of consumers in the Czech market towards artificial intelligence and communication with artifi-cial intelligence, together with proposing recommendations for retail owners who plan to implement artificial intelligence or intend to innovate their current artifi-cial intelligence and improve access to consumers. The diploma thesis used mar-keting research in the form of interviews and a questionnaire survey. Based on them were made conclusions.

The bachelor thesis describes the influence of CRM on consumer behavior in retail, specifically retails of the food market in the Czech Republic. The main method of collecting primary data is a questionnaire survey. The aim of the thesis will be to identify the influence of CRM on consumer behavior, to find out consumer preferences about the form used in participation in CRM activities and then to propose recommendations for entities in the selected market concerning various target segments. It is recommended to focus mainly on the quality and selection of the products and friendly well-trained staff. It has been found that the more often a consumer goes shopping, the more likely he or she is to be a member of a Loyalty Program. Consumers prefer the most collecting points with cards and mobile applications.
Uplatnění konceptu Fair Trade ve vybraném maloobchodním řetězci

The bachelor thesis is focused on the concept of Fair Trade in a selected retail. The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the current involvement of Lidl Czech Republic in the activities and support of the Fair Trade concept. The theoretical part consists of broaden literary review summarizing major information about the concept of Fair Trade, which is crucial for the empirical part. The empirical part then analyses the integration of the Fair Trade concept in the aforementioned chain store. Secondary information is supported by the results of the primary survey, which included observation of activities and shopping behaviour in a selected Lidl store and a survey focusing on consumer perceptions and opinions on the Fair Trade concept and its implementation in Lidl CR stores. The proposed recommendation for possible further development of chain store activities in the integration of the Fair Trade concept uses information and knowledge from the theoretical and empirical part.
