Environmental Friendly Accommodation in a Particular Area

Theme of master's project is environmentally friendly accommodation in Prachatice and surroundings. The main objective is to identify friendly approaches in the accommodation offers in the friendly area and assess the significance friendly approaches in the strategy of companies, which offer accommodation. Using the sub-objective is considered the structure of preconditions for development of friendly approaches in the accommodation offers, the uniformity of deploy and preferences of visitors to the friendly approaches in accommodation offer. To meet the objectives was created offer analysis, compiled from online sources and books and analysis of demand through questionnaire survey, which investigated interest of respondents in environmentally friendly accommodation. Data obtained by analysis of offer and demand has led to the creation of proposals for optimizing the development of environmentally friendly accommodation in the area.

Displacement of Germans in Prachatice (in Memories of Survivors)

This bachelor thesis deals with displacement of Sudeten Germans after 1945. It is divided in two main coherent parts. The first part of the thesis deals with expulsion of German population based on professional literature. This part describes the genesis of the whole idea, initial condition of German minority in the post-war Czechoslovakia, events of so-called savage displacement which took place in following months after liberation and preparations and the course of organized displacement in 1946. The target of the second part of the thesis is to introduce displacement of Germans in an example of South Bohemian cross-border region of Prachatice. Subchapters of this part deal with conditions, local organizations and particular events of displacement (mainly based on memories of survivors).

Evaluation of State Employment Policy in the Countryside Prachaticko

The region of Prachaticko belongs without doubts, with its small density of population and absence of big centres, to countryside regions. Changes after November 1989 caused essential turn in structure of employment on countryside. Huge amount of inhabitants was released from agricultural production and they remained unemployed. At the same time there was not expected restoration of family farms, which were supposed to continue with tradition of Czech agricultural production. On the countryside also arose a question about investors, who had no interest to invest there, which caused another absence of working positions. Major part of countryside inhabitants is now forced to travel to work to the cities every day. These and another factors often decreases chances of countryside inhabitants to gain a job (opposite to inhabitants of cities) which could cause to the countryside inhabitants impression, that they are somehow handicapped on the labour market. The state should (as part of employment policy) accept targeted steps against issue of increasing unemployment and the countryside should have been one of the places, where these steps should have been realised with priority. In theoretical part of my bachelor Thesis I define actual state of problematic of unemployment on the Prachatice countryside. For the collection of data was used quantitative research in form of questionnaire research. Secondary was analysis of data and half-structured dialogues with people interested in the issue. The goal of questionnaire research was confirmation following hypotheses: Unemployed town people from Prachaticko region are more satisfied with state employment policy than unemployed inhabitants of Prachaticko region. Bigger dissatisfaction with state employment policy was proved within unemployed countryside inhabitants of Prachatice by 3 of 5 questions. However differences between both groups are not very big and none of the question ended with conclusive result. Secondary analysis of data showed, that the most problematic area by the point of view of unemployment is on south-east of region. There are also minor amount of working positions on the Prachaticko countryside than in the regional towns. In the context of average amount of unemployed people in Czech Republic is Prachatice region in relatively good position, but against town areas of Prachaticko region is Prachaticko countryside without doubts handicapped. Respondents most commonly think that interventions of state policy lead to the decreasing of unemployment, but not sufficiently.

Responsible tourism in the Prachatice Region

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Responsible tourism in the Prachatice Region. The main goal is an evaluation of the current state of responsible tourism in this location. Through the fractional goals is evaluated the structure of assumptions of development of responsible tourim in this location and preferences of visitou for types of responsible tourism. For the accomplishment of goals of the bachelor thesis were created the analysis of supply that was done from internet and book resources and the analysis of demand through the questionnaire research that was used for the detection of interest of respondents in individual activities of responsible tourism. Data obtained through the analyzes of supply and demand led to the devising of suggestions of optimization for using this area through tourism.

Environmentální vlivy na zdraví dětí

Hlavní cíle úkolu: 1. stanovit riziko dlouhodobých účinků a změn v úrovni znečištění ovzduší na zdravotní stav dětí s použitím modelových souborů dětí z okresu Teplice a Prachatice, 2. provést hodnocení vztahů mezi vybranými genotypy ovlivňujícími metabolismus atmosférických polutantů a schopnosti reparovat genetické poškození těmito polutanty na straně jedné, a nemocnosti dětí na Teplicku a Prachaticku jako modelové oblasti s postupně se snižujícím znečištěním ovzduší na straně druhé, 3. analýza vztahů mezi kvalitou životního prostředí a percepcí zdravotních rizik, které jsou s kvalitou životního prostředí nejtěsněji spojeny, 4. vyhodnocení celkových nákladů spojených s dopady na zdravotní stav dětí a srovnání výše celkových nákladů spojených s nemocností s hodnotami pro EU. Byly řešeny 4 projekty: Projekt 1: Znečištění ovzduší a nemocnost dětí. Projekt 2: Geneticky podmíněné faktory individuální vnímavosti ke znečištěnému ovzduší a nemocnosti dětí. Projekt 3: Percepce zdravotních rizik, ochota platit za snížení rizika onemocnění dětí v oblastech se znečištěným životním prostředím. Projekt 4: Hodnocení celkových nákladů poškození zdraví.

Cílem řešení tématu bylo stanovit riziko dlouhodobých účinků a změn v úrovni znečištění ovzduší na zdravotní stav dětí s použitím modelových souborů dětí z okresů Teplice a Prachatice. Pro zajištění cíle tohoto tématu byly řešeny 4 projekty: Znečištění ovzduší a nemocnost dětí, Geneticky podmíněné faktory individuální vnímavosti ke znečištěnému ovzduší a nemocnost dětí, Percepce zdravotních rizik, ochota platit za snížení rizika onemocnění dětí v oblastech se znečištěným životním prostředím, Hodnocení celkových nákladů poškození zdraví. Zpráva obsahuje popis výsledků jednotlivých projektů.

The distribution of hotel bed capacities and the quality of accompanying services in a specified area of the Prachatice region

My baccalaureate work deals with the distribution of hotel bed capacities and the quality of accompanying services in a specified area of the Prachatice region. The analysis of hotel bed capacities itself has to be preceded by a physically geographical and socio-economic characteristics of the said area supplemented by local attractions and places of interes and the pre-requisitions of tourism. For the purposes of a detailed analysis, the area has been divided into separate administrative districts of municipalities and described from the point of view of accomodation services. The work os concluded with a summary of the current situation supplemented by cartograms and carto-diagrams, by visitor{\crq}s profile as well as a specification of the strong and week factors of this turist area. Proposals and design of a potential improvement of the pre-conditions of tourism development have also been outlined in my work.
