CAD design of the Walther PPS M2 laser sight housing
Macků, Veronika ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a housing for a laser-sight for a Walther PPS M2 pistol with the aid of reverse engineering methods. The first part is a research about laser-sights. The second part contains contemplation about the problem, mainly the restrictions brought on by the design of the Walther pistol and of the energy source of laser-sight Streamlight TLR-6, as well as the chosen production method of the housing, which is 3D printing. The main part describes the acquirement of input data via scanning the body of the Walther pistol and the housing of TLR-6, the making of the CAD design of the housing, the printing of a prototype with a 3D printer and the consequent correction of the CAD model on the basis of analysis of the prototype.
Stress-Strain Calculations of Selected Components of Firearm
Pavlík, Ondřej ; Ševeček, Oldřich (referee) ; Slažanský, Martin (advisor)
Thesis deals with the utilization of the finite element method (FEM) in development of computational model. Subject of the computational model is the slide stop pin of the pistol CZ 75, designed and manufactured in Czech Republic by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. The computational model describes strain stress analysis of the slide stop pin. The results of the analysis are subject to difficult sourcing of relevant and reliable input information. Based on stress strain analysis results, the safety factor of the pin was determined. However, the results are influenced a lot by input parameters selection. At the conclusion the summary of proposed further steps for computational model accuracy increase is proposed.

Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic
Obermayer, Jan ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Brych, Jan (referee)
Title: Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to elaborate on basic firearms and shooting technique training within the scope of the basic training course of the Police of the Czech Republic. Methods: The fundamental methods used in the thesis are the data collection method, applied not only for studying literature, but also in the subsequent selection of professional experience and knowledge. Another method is the analysis method, used for expert evaluation, verification, the quantitative, material, as well as interpretative and comparative analysis. Another basic scientific method is applied, for the purpose of describing basic methodological and tactical procedures and also creating a set of preparatory training sessions. The method is referred to as information synthesis. Results: The output of the thesis is creating a complex view of the issue concerning firearms training for the Police of the Czech Republic according to today's methodology, tasks and objectives laid on this education course. Despite the curriculum of the firearms training being the same for several years, there is a definite improvement and effort to draw the training closer to actual situations and operations. I find that developing methodological guides and...
Effect of physical load on handgun shooting accuracy
Vokoun, Jaroslav ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Hermel, Ivan (referee)
Title: Effect of physical load on handgun shooting accuracy. Objective: The aim of this work is to detect and compare the effects of physical activity (in the form of a shuttle run at the limit of 85% SF max.) on the shooting accuracy from a short firearm. Methods: This was an experimental study with an intra-subject design. Thirty randomly assigned police officers at age 35.9 years (SD = 4.5) made 5 shots from a Glock 17 pistol (gen. 3) within 5 seconds in a stable position without support before and after physical activity (shuttle run on length10 m in time until the completion of 85% SF max.) to a fixed target at a distance of 8 meters. Comparison of shooting accuracy from the middle point of impact between interventions (shooting before and after physical activity) was performed by using a paired T-test. The level of statistical significance was set at p ≥ 0.05. Cohen's d was used to determine the magnitude of the strength of the effects. Results: Based on the paired T-test, a statistically significant difference was found in the accuracy of shooting from the middle point of impact without and after physical activity (p = 0.007, d = 0.498). We also consider the deterioration of shooting accuracy after physical exertion by 9 mm from the middle point of impact, which is 21.78%, to be factually...

Title: Analyzis of static and dynamik of shooting Objectives:. Keywords: shouting, gun, training, difference, deportment
