Testování náchylnosti českých proveniencí jehličnatých dřevin vůči patogenní houbě Fusarium circinatum v laboratorních podmínkách
Lukačevičová, Aneta
Pine pitch canker (PPC), which is caused by Fusarium circinatum, is considered to belong among the most important destructive diseases affecting coniferous tree species in many locations throughout the world. In Europe, F. circinatum is currently present in Spain and Portugal, posing a high risk of its spread into currently disease-free countries in Europe. In the present study, the susceptibility of Pinus sylvestris, Picea abies, and Larix decidua originating in the Czech Republic to F. circinatum was tested. Furthermore, the presence of asymptomatic yet infected seedlings was also checked.
Influence of air humidity, air and soil temperature and soil moisture on diameter increment of Pinus spp.
Bartoš, Radek
Increments of hourly intervals of Pinus oocarpa was measured during the year 2015. The research was based in Villa Rica area, Peru. Each hour change of stem was measured by band dendrometer even climatic values like air temperature, air humidity, soil temperature and soil water availability were measured every hour too. The measured tree is part of agroforestry system of coffee, where shading tree is the main role. Measured climatic values were compared to daily changes and weekly changes of the stem. A statistically significant effect (p<0.001) was found only for the temperature and humidity of the air and their effect on changes in the strain during day and night. The above graphs have a clear effect on other values where statistical significance has not been demonstrated.
Vliv umělé inokulace na druhové složení ektomykorhizních hub semenáčků borovice lesní
Loubalová, Karolína
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of artificial inoculation on biometric parameters and on the occurrence of ectomycorrhiza on the root system of Scots pine seedlings in the forest nursery Svinošice. Differences between measured biometric parameters of seedlings for each treatment were tested by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Ectomycorrhizas were sorted on the basis of the morphological characteristics into so-called morphotypes; ectomycorrhizal fungi forming individual morphotypes were identified by comparing of sequences of the ITS rDNA. These observed data were processed with statistical program Canoco. The inoculation was unsuccessful, fungi used for this inoculation did not form mycorrhiza on seedlings. Representation of the ectomycorrhiza morphotypes on the roots of the seedlings had no statistically significant effect on their biometric parameters. Positive results of this work consist in clearly described and validated methodology for identification of ectomycorrhizal fungal symbionts via the description of mycorrhiza morphotypes and subsequent method of comparison of ITS rDNA sequences.
