Analysis of the Highest and Best Use of a Nursery School Building in Plzeň

This diploma thesis deals with analysis of the highest and best use. The first part of the thesis is the theoretical part, which deals mainly with valuation methods and the essence of analysis. This analysis is applied to the Nursery School in Pilsen, where it examines whether the proposed variants meet the four tests. The result is finding the highest and best use of the object.

Title: Determination of the current state of periodic physical performance testing of members of Army of the Czech Republic through the prism of physical education personnel. Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the current status of the annual physical training examination from the point of view of physical education staff by means of a questionnaire survey. Methods: To obtain responses, a non-standardized questionnaire in electronic form was developed and targeted at all physical education personnel. A purposive sampling was conducted with the aim of fully encompass the general population. The questionnaire was subjected to a pilot study before launch. The questions were compiled according to areas relevant to the annual physical training examination and were discussed with experts on the subject. The areas included in the questionnaire are mainly control tests, performance standards and scoring scales, but the questionnaire also included, for example, age categories or women's issues. Results: The result of this thesis is a systematic view of the physical education staff on the annual physical training examination. Title: The relationship between physical fitness and selected tests of cognitive functions in pupils of elementary schools Objectives: The main aim of the thesis was to estimate the relationship between physical fitness and cognitive abilities among pupils of elementary schools Methods: The thesis was carried out as a cross-sectional study. Pupils aged 8 to 12 years (n = 66; age 9.8 ± 0.8) participated in the study. The cognitive abilities were determined using standardized online tests on the portal www.proskoly.cz, and the physical fitness levels was determined using the test battery Unifittest (6-60) Results: The girls did not differ from the boys in any of the tests. In the overall group, the relationships between cognitive abilities and physical fitness were very weak and statistically not significant. However, in girls, we found indirectly proportional statistically significant (p <0.05) relationships between the Visual Memory test and all the physical fitness tests as well as between the Perception test and Standing Long Jump test, Shuttle Run Agility test, Endurance test, and overall Unifittest (6-60) score. The practical part is focused on results processing of anthropometric measurements and motorial tests regard to the various movement mode.

It shoud be applicable in praxis and it should provide needed physical condition for subsequent periods of yearly cyklus. Methods: To make bachelor thesis secundary sources were used, above all expert literature which deals with the theme and websites. Title: The relationships between the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players. Author: Jitka Chlastáková Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To find and compare the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). The next aim was to determine the relationships between physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). Methods: The object of the research was a group of girls aged from 11 to 15 years. Out of them were 14 girls actually playing for U13 and another 14 for U15. The daily motion aktivity of this group was tested by 14 accelerometers Actigraph GT3X. The length of testing period was one week. The level of motion abilities was examined by testing battery UNIFITTEST 6-60 through four different exercises. Both somatic test and UNIFITTEST 6-60 were realized during a camp. Results: The results show that girls playing for U15 are generally more active than girls playing for U12 (4 171 133 counts > 2 809 934 counts). It proves a fact that older girls make daily on average 15 462 steps compare to 9 764 steps of younger girls. By this result U13 team does not meet the recommendation of 11 000 steps in a day. Title: Athletic preparation in Tennis Objectives: The aim of work is to show up how important is to add athletics exercises to preparation of tennis players at all age categories. Creating a list of exercises, which will help coaches to prepare an athletic training lesson for tennis players. Methods: A literature review was conducted. Information was obtained from the Czech and foreign literature, consultation with selected specialist's lectures, complemented with the author's own experience as a coach. Results: Although we can find many researches and literature about fitness training for tennis players, the importance of athletic training as part of conditioning is mentioned in literature very spontaneously. To build an optimal training lessons, it was necessary to use general literature and to use coaching experiences of the author of this bachelor thesis. Title: Evaluation of the project Děti na startu Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the project Děti na startu, its availability and training content. Methods: In the theoretical part of the thesis I deal with basic concepts. It describes basic issues and development of motor skills of preschool children and early school age. This part of the thesis is based on professional literature that I published as an university project and that has direct line with with this topic. The research part is devoted to the project Děti na startu as such. It presents this project, its goals and basic principles. Also I evaluate the project, both from the perspective of the parents of the children, the children themselves, and mine own perspective, based on the knowledge of theoretical issues. The work aims to evaluate the project, especially in Kladno, where the project has a broad base. Results: The results of the research part of the bachelor thesis show the satisfaction of parents whose children are involved in the project, both in terms of course content and the expertise of leading training units.
