Práca bola vypracovaná v rámci programu Erasmus na Hochschule Furtwangen University v Nemecku. Bakalářská práce se zabývá konfigurováním Cloud Computing služeb. Popisuje model vývoje a použítí těchto technologií. V práci je navrhnutý a implementovaný všeobecný modul na konfiguraci Cloud Computing služeb. Aplikace poskytuje univerzální nástroj na generování uživatelského rozhraní podle dokumentu ve formátu XML. Vytvořený systém zjednodušuje a sjednocuje grafické uživatelské rozhraní.

This thesis deals with the development of the gaming portal in Cloud designed for selected PaaS provider. Informs about the possibilities offered by cloud computing. Summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of PaaS providers. It pursues the design and the implementation of the application, focusing on its scalability and modularity. The result is the gaming portal providing games Tanks and Ships, which you can play against other users or against a computer controlled opponent. The solution contains the evaluation of the scalability of the critical components, based on the results of the stress tests.

The analysis of modern cloud solutions

This thesis describes existing cloud storage systems. Description of the prerequisites of developing cloud and distributed systems are presented. Current storage systems such as Dropbox, iCloud and Google drive are described. Description is mainly focused on the resources of both protocols and derive a conclusion for the use in the cloud storage systems. The practical part of this work is focused on creating two labs, what will be implemented in the teaching syllabus of Projecting, Administration and Security of Computer Networks subject. The first of the labs is focused on the implementation of own cloud services. In the last lab students attention will concentrate on interception of communication secured with SSL protocol.

Název rigorózní práce, abstrakt a klíčová slova v anglickém jazyce Software licensing in cloud computing and related legal issues The topic of this rigorous thesis is "Software licensing in cloud computing and related legal issues." The aim of this work is to define the individual advantages and disadvantages of software licensing in the basic cloud computing models from the point of view of Czech legislation with the overlap into the European and international legislation. The author further aims to evaluate whether this regulation of software licensing in cloud computing is sufficient. For this purpose, the author in the first chapter of this work deals with the definition of cloud computing, describes individual deployment models - private, public, community and hybrid and its three basic distribution models - IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. In the second chapter, the author deals with software, its legal regulation and licensing according to the Czech legal system with an overlap into European and international regulation. Czech legislation is based, among other things, on the Berne Convention, the WIPO Copyright Treaty and European Directives, especially Directive 2009/24/EC. Cloud Computing in Public Sector - Benefits and Risks

(anglicky) This thesis deals with benefits and risks of using cloud computing in public sector institutions. The thesis focuses mainly on the usage of public cloud deployment model. The thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. The first chapter presents definition and basic characteristics of cloud computing. The second part consists of PESTL analysis that describes the impact of macro-environmental factors (namely political, economical, social, technological and legal factors) on the use of cloud computing in public sector institutions. The third part presents SWOT analysis of cloud computing and its use in public sector. The fourth chapter presents a case study of the implementation of cloud computing services at The Faculty of Arts of the Charles University. The results of the conducted analysis tend to positive effects of cloud computing use in public sector institutions, presuming a proper risk analysis is done before implementation begins.
