Security and Performance Testbed for Simulation of Proof-of-Stake Protocols

Tato práce se zabývá testováním výkonu a bezpečnosti konsensus protokolů typu Proof-of-Stake (PoS). Na teoretické úrovni porovnává protokoly ProPos, Algorand, Hedera, Ouroboros a Tezos z pohledu výkonu, možností útoků a obraně proti těmto útokům. Součástí práce je implementace simulačního frameworku v Omnet++ 5.4.1 pro provádění simulačních experimentů s protokoly ProPos, Algorand a Hedera. Simulace se zabývají zejména výkonem těchto protokolů. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsou navržena určitá vylepšení.

Fast Synchronization of New Nodes in the Fantom Opera Platform

Cílem této diplomové práce je prozkoumat aktuální způsoby rychlé synchronizace nových uzlů v rámci jednotlivých blockchain sítí dle závislostí na jednotlivých konsenzech, porovnat jednotlivá řešení mezi sebou, navrhnout možné řešení a naimplementovat novou rychlou synchronizaci pro blockchainovou síť Fantom Opera. Řešení spočívá v tom, že nově připojený uzel se místo do P2P sítě přímo připojí k existujícímu nodu a stáhne si od něj potřebná data pro co nejrychlejší synchronizování se zbytkem sítě.

This work deals with performance and security testing of blockchain protocols based on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus model. It describes properties, problems, but also the use of blockchain systems. On theoretical levels, this thesis compares the properties and resistance to various attacks of numerous PoS protocols, specifically Algorand, Casper, Gasper, Snow White, Stellar and Decred. Additionally, this work implements a protocol simulator of Algorand, Casper FFG and Gasper. The simulator is built on top of the Bitcoin Simulator simulation tool, which is based on the NS-3 discrete network event simulator. Then, it compares the properties of the implemented protocols using discrete simulation.

This thesis discuss topic of Grocery shop management software. Primary function is Point of Sale software which is extended by back-office solution including inventory management, management reports, reports required by law etc. Poznámka: SIS píše chybu při nahrávání tohoto souboru, vyžaduje více slov, ale zároveň požaduje abstrakt, což chápu jako kopii abstraktu z odevzdané bakalářské práce. Proto nechávám abstrakt v přesné podobě, jak je uveden v bakalářské práci. Použil jsme doporučený konvertor. Detail chyby: Vybraný soubor BPBC_2010_1__0_229690_0_89245.pdf se nepodařilo uložit Soubor PDF není prohledávatelný. Soubor obsahuje málo slov anebo obsahuje pouze obrázky (problém vzniká nejčastěji při skenování dokumentu bez OCR konverze).

The bachelor thesis "Olfactory marketing - The usage of natural and artificially propagated aroma in retail stores of natural cosmetic products" deals with the usage of olfactory marketing in the field of business and its influence on the customer. Thesis will be divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first chapter in the theoretical part, which deals with the brief characteristics and analysis of the current situation of in-store marketing, is an introduction to the theme of the whole work. The second chapter deals with the physiology of smell and emotional memory, which enables in-store marketing to use olfactus as a tool for effective sales promotion. History, principles and olfactory marketing in general are discussed in the last chapter of the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis. In this chapter, the text author deals in with the differences between artificially propagated and naturally fading smells at the point of sale. Olfactory marketing is belong to neuromarketing. Sensory marketing use human senses - taste, smell, sight and hearing. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters.
