Fuel cell model in PSCAD
Černý, František ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a model of different fuel cells. It is intended to broaden the view of currently available fuel cells their principle function and to describe their advantages and disadvantages. It also describes the basic equation of the magnitude of the voltage generated at the electrodes of the cell and the types of voltage losses that occur during its operation. Creating a custom fuel cell model and comparing simulations of this model with real cells and, with datasheets of available fuel cells.

Online DNSSEC Records Validation
Bachtík, Martin ; Čejka, Rudolf (referee) ; Lampa, Petr (advisor)
Master's Thesis is studying an extension that secures the domain name system by introducing the verifiability of authenticity of data, known as DNSSEC. Productive output is proposal of application and its subsequent implementation that at each stage of browse the namespace to the selected domain name checks the appropriatenesses of this extension and in detail reports the trusted chain.

Investigation of thin films for hydrogen fuel cells
Komárková, Zuzana ; Matolín, Vladimír (advisor) ; Nováková, Jaroslava (referee)
Clean and highly efficient energy source has long been sought to solve energy and environmental problems. Fuel cells, which convert the chemical energies sto- red in fuel directly into electrical energy, are expected to be the key technology. In this thesis the catalytic active layers (specifically Pt, PtCo, PtNi, PtRu) for Direct methanol fuell cell (DMFC) are studied. We have evaluated PtCo as the best cathode catalysts. We have significantly reduced the amount of platinum as well as the power loss at higher concentrations of methanol. The sputtered PtCo catalyst is comparable power density in comparison with commercial Pt catalyst while the specific power per gram of platinum is several times higher. The speci- fic power of our anode catalyst layers is comparable to reference catalysts. Our findings are useful for future improvements of the anode catalyst layer for DMFC.
