This bachelors work deals with Long-range Aircraft Types in the Civil Air Transport. I picked out this theme because of my intense interest about aviation a aeronautical technics. In my future professional career I would like to work in civil air transport. In bachelors work I attend to basic factors that affect selection of aeronautical technics, also long-range aircraft itself.

Light sources in extreme operational conditions

The purpose of this work is to inform about how various external influences can affect the operational characteristics of light sources. In the first part of the work, the light sources are categorized based on their principle of operation and the basic parameters and properties of different light source types are listed. Then the individual influences (voltage changes, temperature, operational position) and their possible effect on the operational characteristics of different types of light sources are analysed. Further, possible procedures for measuring light sources under altered conditions are mentioned and the results of practical measurements on selected light sources are presented. The last part of the work deals with ways to decrease the influence of altered operating conditions on the operation of light sources.

In practical section I analyze the company which help us to get information about their development in period of five years. The work will also propose possible solutions based on existing problems.

This thesis deals with analysis of manual metal arc welding method or method 111. In the research part of this thesis are discused principles of this method, welding power sources and additional welding material-coated elecrodes. Further the thesis is focused on the weldability of steels, especially carbon steels and austenitic stainless steels. In the experimental part was accomplished measurement of operational characteristics of coated electrods. Measurement was carried out on sample of cabon steel S235JR according to ČSN EN and austenitic stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 accordig to ČSN EN. The evaluation envolves a comparison of the results and their justifications.
