Universal Communication Center for the Smart Home based on Platform OpenHAB
Veselka, Jan ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Kováč, Dominik (advisor)
In households is increasing number of electronic peripheries. It is therefore appropriate to control these peripheries remotely, with comfort, for example by smart phone. This thesis focuses on opportunity to control every single element of household by OpenHAB (Open Home Automation Bus). In this thesis is gradually explained which architecture OpenHAB have and it's described individual elements of this architecture. Second part of this thesis deal with configuration of OpenHAB. Specifically with syntax of individual files and acquaint user with development environment. Third part of thesis is focused on already set bindings between system OpenHAB and peripheries. Fourt part focuses on device Raspberry Pi and opportunity to use it as a server for OpenHAB. In conclusion are given instructions for launching this system on Raspberry Pi and a example of following configuration with use of elements and sensors from Homematic.
Web Intercase for Building Control System with BACnet protocol
Kretek, Tomáš ; Friml, Dominik (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyzes the basic features of the BACnet protocol, which is followed by visualization platforms and tools ThingsBoard, OpenHAB and Node-RED. The BAC0 library and the BOSS Simulator program are selected for the BACnet device simulation. The ThingsBoard platform is used to demonstrate the functionality with the BAC0 library, which allowed the design of a two-room model with heating and heat transfer through the walls. At the end of the work, the operation of the ThingsBoard platform on a Raspberry Pi computer is evaluated.
Monitoring of System Resources Using OpenHAB Environment
Štůsek, Martin ; Kováč, Dominik (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim this bachelor thesis is detailed familiarity with the technology OpenHAB and create functional application that displays resource usage. Monitoring of system resources won‘t be implemented only in one station, but in all instances OpenHAB in a local network. Created application also allows remote access to reference statistics, without having to connect to the same network. For obtaining system information is used system information package, which is built over SIGAR library. To transfer between stations and end-collection device is used HTTP binding and REST API. The first part of the bachelor thesis describes in detail the technology OpenHAB, the second part describes the technology used and the created applications. In the last section gives guidance on commissioning of OpenHAB on the end device.
Design solution for the control of existing buildings technologies
Neminář, Štěpán ; Drábek, Ivo (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This master´s thesis is dealing with designing wireless management system for existing buildings. In the first part there is description of topologies a communication protocols used for wireless automation. Further there are characterized some devices for lighting, heating, ventilation and cooling regulation. These are used for a model network of a building management, where is system OpenHAB also presented. In the next chapter is aprissed specific edifice and its typical operation where is also designed basic and extended solution for it. This part continues with computation of energy consumption in TRNSYS software, that are used to calculate economic return for both variants.
Home gate for IoT devices using Z-Wave technology
Resler, Tomáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the platform Z-Wave. This platform tries to create an universal system for smart home. The theoretical part of the work describes in details the platform itself as well as the applicable libraries for programming of applications and the available equipments. The practical part presents the new custom gateway. The hardware of this gateway is designed with utilization of the Z-Wave module, Raspberry Pi 3 microcomputer, touchscreen, powerbank and the body of the system. The body has been designed in the Solid Works CAD system and printed on a 3D printer. The needed firmware was loaded into the Z-Wave module ZM5304 and this module has been interconnected with the Raspberry Pi 3 through the printed circuit board of the custom design. The gateway drives OpenZWave network through the new own application written with help of Python wrapper of the library OpenZWave and other open source components. The part of the work is also the list and description of the alternative commercial gateways available on the Czech market.

Universal Security Solution For Iot Data Collection Systems
Šťovíček, Petr
The article presents our data collection solution based on RIOT operating system andMessage Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) technology. Our solution is secure, universal, andeasy to integrate to already existing and often insecure IoT networks. Furthermore, we integrated oursolution into the temperature and humidity monitoring system. This system detects the potentiallydangerous level of these physical quantities and warns users by smartphone notification about relevantthreats such as the impact on the infectivity of COVID-19.
Smart Home System With The 'Raspberry Pi'
Lokajíček, Lukáš
This article deals with the design of the Smart Home System (SHS), which takes advantages of the 'Raspberry Pi' single-board computer. The concept is focused on reliability, extensibility and low acquisition price. Background research about the concept of SHS was carried out and elimination of found weaknesses turned into aim of this project. The 'Raspberry Pi' takes care of home automation and provides user to access across various platforms thanks to the implementation of own binding program for openHAB.
